     Muriel Glenn Jennings was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg, Knox Co., Illinois.¹ She was born on July 16, 1902 at Galesburg, Knox Co., Illinois.^1,3 As of June 6, 1970,her married name was West.² She married Dr. Edward Staunton West, son of John Thrash West Jr. and Mary Ann Jefferson, on June 6, 1970 at Beaverton, Washington Co., Oregon.² Muriel Glenn Jennings died on August 17, 1985 at Oregon at age 83.^1,3 She Muriel Jennings Schori West, 83, of Beaverton, formerly a resident of Salem, died Saturday. She was born in Galesburg, Ill., and lived here to 1969, when she moved to Beaverton. She graduated in 1923 from Knox Music Conservatory, Galesburg, and had been a pianist and organist in silent movie theaters. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Michael, Portland, and Salli Schori, Hollywood, Calif; and son, Dr. Thomas Schori, Bloomington, Ill. on August 20, 1985.³

     Patsy Dale Cundiff Patsy “Pat” Cundiff Strike, Sep 5, 1950 - Feb 2, 2014. Patsy "Pat" Cundiff Strike, age 63, of Boones Mill, went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, February 2, 2014. She loved her family and horses along with her other animals and was known throughout the Banking Business in Franklin County and Roanoke with 44 years of dedicated and devoted service to her customers. Pat was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church. She was a people person --- inside and out! She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Belva Smith Cundiff and was also preceded in death by her Brother-In-Law, Charlie Brown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray L. and Myrtle Strike; Sister-In-Law, Ada Catherine Spurrier. A special thanks to Franklin Heights Baptist Church and her Sunday School Class for their continued love and support throughout her illness.      Matthew Foster Burton Sr. Matthew Foster Burton Sr., 57, of Salem, Va., passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. A proud American, he enrolled into the United States Navy soon after his high school graduation from Andrew Lewis in 1976. He will be remember for his infectious smile and his love to discuss politics with anybody. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Burton; mother, Mildred Burton; and brother, Gary Burton. A proud father, he is survived by sons, Matthew Foster Burton Jr. (Hannah) and Daniel Burnette Burton (Jennifer); his sisters, Melanie F. Burton Leavitt (Merv) and Deborah Burton Boitnott (Murrill); sister-in-law, Billie Boothe Burton; and beloved nieces and nephews, Amy Burton Simonpietri (Sean), Alison Burton Bundy (Matt), Ashley Burton Ovsenjenko (Michael), Jonathan Burton Leavitt, Sara Leavitt Campbell (Chris), Kaylin Leavitt Welch (Rob), Emily Boitnott Jennings (Jody), Holly Boitnott Furtick (Steven), Joy Lillian Boitnott, and their many children.³ He was born on June 7, 1958 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,4,2 He married Nancy Ann Daniel, daughter of Walter Linwood Daniel Sr. and Peggy Ann Powell, on June 3, 1983 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ Matthew Foster Burton Sr. and Nancy Ann Daniel were divorced on October 27, 1994 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ Matthew Foster Burton Sr. died on August 5, 2015 at Virginia at age 57.³
