     Andrew C. Conner was buried at William Walters Family Cemetery, Floyd Co., Virginia.4 He was born in February, 1820 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.5 He married Matilda Ann Walters, daughter of William Curtis Walters Sr. and Mary "Polly" Martin, on April 22, 1845 at Floyd Co., Virginia.6,7 Andrew C. Conner Deed Between the Sons of William Conner This deed made the 17th day of Aug. 1854 between Jacob P. Conner and Louisa his wife and Nathan Conner and Eliza his wife. Isaac Conner and Caroline his wife, and Daniel P. Conner and Elizabeth his wife, and Andrew Conner and Matilda his wife heirs and representative of William Conner deceased of the one and first part all of the County of Floyd and State of Virginia and William P. Conner of the county and state aforesaid of the second part witnesses that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and seventy five dollars in hand paid to the said Jacob P. Conner and Louisa his wife and Nathan Conner and Eliza his wife and Isaac Conner and Caroline his wife and Daniel P. Conner and Elizabeth his wife and Andrew Conner and Matilda his wife heirs and representatives as aforesaid of William Conner deceased have this day bargain and sell ______released and confirmed and by these presents do bargain and sell _________release and confirm unto the said William P. Conner all there whole sole and entire interest right and title to all the land Estate belonging to them as heirs and representatives of the aforesaid William Conner deceased and do forever warrant and free from us or any of our liens or any persons claiming under us and we Daniel P. Conner and Elizabeth his wife has for and in consideration of the above mentioned consideration also bargained and sold and do forever bargain and sell unto the said William P. Conner and do forever relinquish any claims that they may of had to the aforesaid _____ estate of William Conner deceased previous to his death and do also forever warrant and _____ the same free from us or any of our heirs in witness, whereof the parties hereto subscribed our names and as said seals this date above writing. Signed by all the above named. William H. Boyd and Bird Smith J.P. on August 17, 1854.8 He left a will on December 10, 1902; In the name of God amen. I Andrew Conner of Floyd County and the state of Virginia, farmer, being weak in body and sound of mind and memory and understanding but considering the uncertainty if this tricumsitory (transitory?) of life do make this my last will and testament in the manner and form following to wit. 1st. It is my will that all my doctor bills and burial expenses just and honest debts be paid out of my estate. Also, I give unto my daughter Julia Ann Conner all my personal property as long as she lives, also my daughter Julia Ann Conner is to have her support off of the remainder of my real estate and also a house on same place as long as Julia Ann Conner lives and at the death of my daughter Julia Ann Conner said real estate is to go to my daughter Sarah J. Ratcliff and my daughter Isabell Argabright and I also give to my son William H. Conner two dollars and fifty cents to be part out of my estate at my death and I also give unto my daughter Elizabeth Ellen Smith two dollars and fifty cents to be part out of my estate at my death and I also give to my son John H. W. Conner the sum of two dollars and fifty cents to be part out of my estate at my death. The real estate mentioned in the above will contains about fifty acres of land, said land lying in the County of Floyd and State of Virginia on waters of Flat Run adjoining the lands of H. W. Conner, John H. Sisson, Daniel S. Lucas, and Joseph H. Austin. Also I nominate John H. W. Conner to be executor of my will hereby revoking all other legacies and bequest by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal on this the tenth day of December in the year one thousand nine hundred and two. Witness: William M. Vest (who probably wrote the will) Peter R. Vest Andrew (X) Conner Probated and ordered to be recorded on May 12, 1903. We, George W. Vest, Peter and H. V. Cole who were appointed at the May term of Floyd County Court 1903 to appraise the personal property of Andrew Conner, dec., met after being duly sworn proceeded as follows: 1 horse, $16.00 1 cow, $25.00 1 heifer, $10.00 1 rifle gun, $1.00 1 bond on D.
