Woody loved playing golf and searching for lost balls at Brookside Golf Course. But his heart was always focused on missions, evangelism, and his relationship with the Lord. He served as Elder, Deacon, AWANA Leader, and more during over 50 years of faithful membership at Shenandoah Baptist Church.      Carlton Brown Felty Carlton Brown Felty, 70 of Roanoke, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and experienced perfect healing Sunday, June 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Brown and Dorothy Felty, and a brother, Cline Felty. Carlton served for a number of years in the Virginia Army National Guard and was a long time member of Windsor Hills Baptist Church. He loved singing in the choir and with his family. He also enjoyed skydiving, golfing and was a great chef. Carlton worked for years as a Gemologist with local jewelers in the Roanoke Valley. Alma graduated from William Fleming High School in Roanoke, VA. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at NASA in Hampton, VA and later was a Preschool Teacher at Roanoke Valley Christian Schools. Alma was devoted to her Savior and was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known as a prayer warrior who truly cared for people. Alma was energetic and loved serving her family.
