     John Nelson Graham John Nelson Graham, 77 of Check, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelson & Ollie Graham; sons, David Nelson Graham and John Anthony Graham; brother, Douglas Allen Graham; and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Covey. John was a lifetime member of the Locust Grove Fire Department and had served as Lieutenant. Following 20 years of work as a qualified machinist, John spent another 20 years of service as a highway and local truck driver alongside his wife, Barbara, before retiring. He led an extraordinary life which included being a Scout Master and an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Conner Graham; daughter & son-in-law, Karen & Doug Lucas; son, Dwayne Graham & Kathy Suroski; grandchildren, Crystal & John, Brandon & Savannah, and Ashley & Blake; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Lilly, Addison, and McKinleigh; sister & brother-in-law, Colleen & Franklin Shephard; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Ennis Graham; and special friends, Sandy & Earl Clower and David & Nina Conroy. Graveside services will be held in the Wilson Cemetery.3 He was buried at Wilson Cemetery, Daniel's Run Road (Rt. 661), Locust Grove, Floyd Co., Virginia.3 He was born on January 19, 1943 at Floyd Co., Virginia.2,4 He married Barbara Jean Conner, daughter of William Marvin Conner and Lillie May Vest, on March 12, 1965 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.2,5,4,6,7,3 John Nelson Graham died on May 23, 2021 at Virginia at age 78.3

Bernadine R. Dixon died on January 3, 2008 at West Pike, Potter Co., Pennsylvania, at age 84.3,1 She Bernadine R. Wimmer, age 84, of West Grove, PA, formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, and Chester, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Wimmer, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage until his death in 1986. Born in Sabula, PA, she was the daughter of the late Luther L. and Frances Shivie Dixon. She was employed by the Franklin Mint as a pewter assembler until her retirement in 1985 after 10 years of service. A member of Blessed Trinity RC Church in St. Petersburg, FL, she was active in the Women's Club. While living in St. Petersburg, she volunteered at the Children's Hospital and was a member of the Golden Gate Retirement Community, where she participated in many social activities. She enjoyed reading and music and most especially being with family and friends. Survivors include, 1 son, Thomas A. Wimmer and his wife, Lori of Hummelstown, PA; 2 daughters, Judith A. Kilpatrick and her husband, Richard of Ridley Park, PA; Gail F. Riberio and her husband, Thomas of West Grove, PA; 2 brothers, Donald L. Dixon of Smethport, PA and John C. Dixon of Zanesville, OH; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm, on Monday, January 7, at Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA 19390. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am-1 pm, on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 1392 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA 17566. Donations in Bernadine's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

"Bill" Rylee died on November 10, 1992 at Pinellas Co., Florida, at age 77.2,3,4 He William "Bill'' Rylee, 77, one of four brothers who played for the Kids & Kubs softball team and the Liniment Leaguers, died Tuesday (Nov. 10, 1992) of cancer at the Laurels. His son, Bill, said he was captain of a Kids & Kubs team and was former captain of the Liniment Leaguers and the Bartlett League. Mr. Rylee was the youngest of the four brothers who were good hitters and outfielders, according to an article published in the Evening Independent. In all, there were six boys in the family; two stayed in Pennsylvania. The eldest of the four ballplayers, Harry, died in August 1991 at the age of 81. At the time of his brother's death, Mr. Rylee said that he and his brothers played on the same semiprofessional baseball team in the 1930s. "My father was the manager and one of our victories was with the House of David, a touring group that wore beards,'' he said. "We gave up baseball by the 1940s for the fast pitch of softball and, after we retired, we got together and returned to playing softball. My brother was a real nice guy, and we had some great times together,'' he said. A native of Lancaster, Pa., Mr. Rylee was a seasonal resident from West Grove, Pa., until he retired in 1980 and permanently moved here. He was a machine operator for West Grove Knitting Mills. In addition to his son, Bill, of Bear, Del., he is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Faye Somerville, Shrewsbury, Pa; four brothers, Morris, St. Petersburg, Michael, Lancaster, Pa., Roy, Berlin, N.J., and Robert ""Bob,'' Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Ruth Fitzgerald, Landisville, Pa., and Gladys Cook, Lancaster; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Professional Cremation Service in Pinellas Park is in charge of arrangements. on November 15, 1992.4
