The death certificate says burial was in Montgomery County.² She was born on October 5, 1858 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^1,2 She married William John "Bill" Cole, son of John William Cole and Nancy Jane Alley, on August 20, 1877 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^1,2 As of August 20, 1877,her married name was Cole. Mary Catherine "Molly" Carey died on February 16, 1935 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 76.²

     William Carey married Susan Mary Rumberg, daughter of Eli Rumberg and Mary "Polly" Hall. William Carey was born circa 1828 at Ireland.¹ He died in 1882.¹

Mr. Prillaman served in the U.S. Army, and had been a pastor of Southgate Baptist Church since 1990. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Charla Prillaman; one daughter, Sharon Cartledge; foster son, Joshua Pace, Denver, Colo; mother, Pauline Prillaman, Lynchburg, Va; three sisters, Martha Gosnell and Melissa Prillaman, both of Lynchburg, Va., Mary Prillaman, Wilmington, N.C; one brother, Wesley Prillaman, Delray Beach, Fla. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 14, 1997 at 2 p.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Fla. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 16, 1997, 1 p.m. at the Restvale Cemetery, Copper Hill, Va. The family requests memorials be made to Roloff Homes (City of Refuge), P.O.      Helen Louise Cole was buried at Sunset Cemetery, North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁴ She was born on May 25, 1918 at Den Hill, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^5,4 As of September 2, 1940,her married name was Hungate.³ She married Roy Curtis Hungate on September 2, 1940 at Shawsville, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^6,5,7,1,4,3 Helen Louise Cole died on January 29, 2009 at Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 90.^4,8 She Helen Cole Hungate, 90, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009. Mrs. Hungate was born on May 25, 1918, in Den Hill and lived there with her grandparents after being orphaned at age two. Upon her marriage to Roy Hungate, she moved to Cambria and resided in the Christiansburg area for the remainder of her life. Mrs. Hungate was a longtime member of Cambria Baptist Church. She worked for 48 years at the Blue Ridge Overall Factory, where she was a supervisor. Through her work, church, and community, she had many wonderful friends who cared for her. Mrs. Hungate enjoyed her church, her work, and hobbies including gardening and crafts. She loved the fellowship she shared with her many friends and her beloved family whom she cherished so much. In addition to her parents, grandparents, and husband, Mrs. Hungate was predeceased by her sister, Mildred Graham. Surviving include her daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ellen and Dr. James L. Hedrick; grandsons and wives, Dr. James L. Hedrick Jr. and Elizabeth, and Dr. Jeffrey Hedrick and Amy; greatgrandchildren, James III, Preston, Taylor, and Erin Hedrick; sister-in-law, Ruby Chafin; nieces, Annette Graham David, Joyce Graham, and Kathy Cox; and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2009, at Cambria Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 31, 2009, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va.      Minnie Bell Carroll was born on March 17, 1897 at Nelson Co., Virginia.¹ As of June 1, 1913,her married name was Couples.^1,5 She married Joseph Meleh Couples on June 1, 1913 at Albemarle Co., Virginia.^1,5 Minnie Bell Carroll died on November 12, 1950 at Gum Springs, Fairfax Co., Virginia, at age 53.¹

     Robert Edward Carroll was buried at Mount Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 7325 Irish Road, Faber, Nelson Co., Virginia.^1,6 He was born on May 30, 1896 at Amherst Co., Virginia.^5,1,6 He married Annie Martin on April 7, 1920 at Nelson Co., Virginia.⁵ Robert Edward Carroll married Betty Belle Gardner circa 1921.^7,8 Robert Edward Carroll and Annie Martin were divorced on July 29, 1926 at Nelson Co., Virginia.⁹ Robert Edward Carroll died on August 14, 1963 at Schuyler, Nelson Co., Virginia, at age 67.^1,6

     Betty Belle Gardner was buried at Mount Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 7325 Irish Road, Faber, Nelson Co., Virginia.^2,1 She was born on May 16, 1905 at Virginia.^2,1 She married Robert Edward Carroll, son of Iverson Lewis Carroll and Rose Ella "Rosa" "Rose" Tyree, circa 1921.^3,4 As of circa 1921,her married name was Carroll.⁴ Betty Belle Gardner died on November 18, 1987 at Ashland, Hanover Co., Virginia, at age 82.^2,1

     Her Social Security Number was 226-31-0583.⁶ Melissa Jo Fulcher was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.^1,7 She was born on March 1, 1968 at Novato, Marin Co., California.^6,4,5,7 As of September 5, 1997,her married name was DeWeese.² She married Darrell Lynn DeWeese, son of John Harris DeWeese and Mary Ellen Agee, on September 5, 1997 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2 Melissa Jo Fulcher died on June 9, 2003 at Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 35.^6,1,8,7 She DeWEESE, Melissa Fulcher, (Jo), 35, of Salem, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 9, 2003. She was a 1986 graduate of Glenvar High School and went on to graduate from National Business College with a degree in Accounting. Her surviving family includes her husband, Darrell Lynn DeWeese; two sons, Warren Andrew "Andy" Fulcher and Joshua Taylor Fulcher; her parents, Don and Doris Fulcher; and a sister, Denise Williams; numerous other relatives and friends that also loved her very much. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on June 11, 2003.¹
