Hylton died on October 20, 2017 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 97.3 She Mabel E. Agee, 97, of Bouldin Road, Ridgeway, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. She was born September 7, 1920, in Willis, Va. to the late Harrison Hylton and Maude Slaughter Hylton. She was a homemaker and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending senior citizen meetings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Obie K. Agee; two brothers, Dalton and Milton Hylton; and a grandson, Marvin Conner. Mrs. Agee is survived by two daughters, Mary Conner and Blanche Compton; a son, Ralph Agee and his wife Phyllis; eight grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at the Moran Cemetery in Floyd, Va. Wright Funeral Service is serving the Agee family. on October 23, 2017.3
