Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel noon Tuesday with the Rev. Ken Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Salvation Army in her memory. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel. on December 25, 1994.6

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Munsey Pruitt of Narrows; one son, Lewis Pruitt, Jr. of Roanoke; five daughters, Donna Groves of Pearisburg, Linda Routt of Buchanan, Kathy Pruitt of Roanoke, Vickie Hubbard of Roanoke, and Debbie Blankenship of Roanoke; two brothers, Harold Pruitt of Roanoke, Oscar Daley of Jewel Ridge; two sisters, Beatrice Thompson of Pearisburg, Jean Christian of Jewel Ridge; seven grandchildren; a special grandson and buddy, James Groves, Jr; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 24, 1999, at 2 p.m. at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg, with the Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating, with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg. on August 23, 1999.2
