He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother. Al was a lover of nature and spent his happiest moments with his wife and sons in the mountains fishing and hunting. His great appreciation of the outdoors was shared with all who knew him. Services were held at Drinkwine Mortuary on Thursday morning, October 12, 1989. on October 26, 1989.3

She is survived by her husband, four children; five grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Littrell of Nelson and Irvin Littrell of Los Angeles; two ssiters (sic), Jessie Roberts of Maxwell, Neb., and Mrs. Verne Eckles of Nelson. Services were held at the Christian Church at Nelson, with the Rev. Victor Schwarz officiating and burial was in the Nelson cemetery on May 23, 1963.3

Paul was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish and York Rites, Tekamah Shrine, American Legiona and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Kenneth Jensen, and two sisters, Edna Jensen and Jessie Roberts. Survivors include his wife, Hazel; one son and his wife, Robert and Nellie Littrell of Nelson; two daughters and their husbands, Virginia and Jim Dinkel of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Marian and Max Rogers of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; one sister, Verna Eckles of Nelson; one brother, Irvin of Laguna Hills, California; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 1982, at the Nelson Presbyterian Church, with Dr. James S. Walker officiating. Esther Wehrman, organist, accompanied soloist Joe Ferebee as he sung "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden". Pallbearers were Jon Littrell, Gregory Jensen, Paul Dinkel, Kevin Rogers, Michael Corman, Bob Navas and Tom Downey. Masonic services were by Nelson Lodge #77 A.F. and A.M. Military rites by Nelson American Legion Post #187 and V.F.W. #7197, with interment in the Nelson Cemetery. Williams Funeral Home of Superior was in charge of the arrangements. on April 29, 1982.1

Pittam, Mill City, Oreg; Phillip Eckles and Mrs. Robert McCutchan (Maxine), both of Nelson; William Eckles, Jr., Lincoln, Neb; and John Eckles, Weslaco, Texas; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services were Monday from the Nelson Community United Church of Christ in Nelson, with the Rev. Dr. Ralph Sturdy officiating. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery. Klawitter-Price Funeral Home of Nelson was in charge of arrangments. on March 15, 2001.1

Littrell, one of four children of Paul McFeeley and Hazel Ada Mullet Littrell, was born June 29, 1922, in Superior. He grew up in Nelson, attended Nelson Public Schools and the University of Nebraska for one year. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Force. Littrell was united in marriage, Dec. 31, 1950, to Nellie Irene Janssen in Concordia. They lived their lives in Nelson except for a few years when he was in the insurance business. Before his retirement, he was owner and operator of Littrell's Inc., a petroleum transportation company. Littrell was a member of the United Church of Christ; Masonic Lodge, of which he was past master; Tehama Shrine, American Legion and the Nelson Cemetery Board. He had been a member of the Nelson Volunteer Fire Department, Boy Scout leader and school and draft boards. He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Dorothy Littrell Jensen. Survivors include his wife, Nellie, and mother, Hazel, both of Nelson; a son, Jon, and a daughter, Gail, Lincoln; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Dinkel (Virginia), Speedway, Ind., and Mrs. Max Rogers (Marian), Scottsbluff; and two granddaughters. on June 30, 1994.2

She is survived by her parents, her three children, Gregory, Janet and Debra; one brother, Robert of Nelson; two sisters, Mrs. James Dinkel (Virginia) of Fairmond, Minnesota and Mrs. Max Rogers (Marian) of Fremont, Nebraska, and her grandmother, Mrs. John Mullet of Superior. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Nelson and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 27 of Nelson. Interment was in the Nora Cemetery. A quartette, composed of Mrs. Earl Corman, Mrs. Elza Grove, Mrs. Winifred Shipherd and Mrs. Harold Jensen sang, accompanied by Mrs. Leslie Swigart. Pallbearers were Earl Lanham, Earl Adamson, Don Biltoft, Bill Wehrman, Floyd Vires, and Rudolph Gebers. on November 28, 1963.1

Jensen was born November 4, 1884 at Filley, Nebraska, the son of Albert and Elsie Jensen. On December 18, 1906, he was united in marriage to Edna Littrell. To this union were born four children, one boy and three girls. Mr. Jensen lived in Nuckolls County most of his life. He farmed for a time, then began working at the Farmer's Union Oil Co. Later he was employed by the Chester Bargen Implement Co.
Mr. Jensen was a member of the Nelson Christian Church, having joined around 1920. He passed away December 13, 1968 at the Good Samaritan Home in Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and three brothers who died in infancy. He is survived by his children: Albert Roy Jensen of Nelson, Alta Mae Pedersen of Hardy, Nebraska, Edna Ruby Stites of Phoenix, Arizona and Julia Josephine Roberts of Oklahoma City. There is one sister, Mrs. Anna Ferebee of Nelson and two brother, Dewey M. Jensen of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Ole R. Jensen of Blair, Nebraska. There are also five grand children. Services were held in the Klawitter Chapel, Nelson, Nebraska, Monday, December 16 at 2 o'clock with Victor Schwarz officiating. Singers were Pearl Clem and Bertha Portwood. Margaret Williams was pianist. Casket bearers were Floyd Rouse, Lloyd Bargen, Earl Schufedt, Glenn Chapman, Jake Chapman and Herman Brennfoerder. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery and arrangements by Klawitter Funeral Home of Nelson. on December 19, 1968.5
