Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 1998 at Oakey's North Chapel, with the Rev. Todd Gray officiating. The interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. on November 17, 1998.3

Mrs. Scott's survivors are her first husband, Clinton A. Myers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa M. and Jeffery D. Jones, of Hollins, Patricia M. and Paul L. Rucker, of Vinton; sister and brother-in-law. Mary E. and Riley E. Furrow, of Boones Mill; granddaughter, Megan A. Jones; and close friends and other relatives including Gelean Hall and son, Tony Hall, of Blue Ridge. A special thank you to Dr. Sayed Haider and Dr. Richard Prokopchak, Dr. William H. Doubler at Lewis Gale Hospital and to all the medical intensive care unit staff. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. on September 27, 2002.3
