For over 20 years, she was employed by the Wake County School System serving as cafeteria staff at Cary High School. Mrs. Crawford was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Day Crawford. Mrs. Crawford is survived by her daughter, Carole Stroud (Ross) of Raleigh; sons, Delbert Lynn Crawford (Deborah); and Rock Alan Crawford both of Cary; sister, Clara Abbott; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Inurnment will follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park.
