Valinda was a lover of people, always known for sharing stories, telling jokes and making friends with just about everyone she would meet. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and coaching. Wayne was a proud member of the Elks Lodge in Clovis. Wayne is survived by his wife; Carolyn Deweese, 2 sons: Thomas Gum (Emily) and Charles Gum (Laurie), 1 daughter; Dawn Burnett (Michael), 2 brothers: Thomas and Roger Deweese, 11 grandchild, and 8 great grandchildren.
