He graduated from Cave Spring High School in 1978. Jeff had a long and successful career in the Information Technology field. He worked for VDOT, Atlantic Mutual and Medical Facilities of America. He enjoyed hunting and just being able to do anything in the outdoors. He loved animals and had several pets including his beloved dogs, Abby, Hannah, Pip, and Belle. Jeff completed his dream in being able to have his log cabin in the woods, where he relished working outside in the yard or on the cabin. Jeff is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pennye Epperly; sister, Jennifer Durrance and her two children, Erika Ragland and Danielle Durrance; great-nephew, Leo Ragland; aunt, Sue Epperly; uncle, Paul Epperly; sisters-in-law, Diane (Jim) Parker, Loretta Miller, and Lisa (Quinn) Mongan; brother-in-law, Dean (Robin) Ricker; beloved dog, Cooper; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Interment will follow at Evergreen Burial Park. on February 14, 2024.4

Patricia was born November 29, 1945 in Marion, VA to the late Dale L. Gambill and the late Mary Cress Gambill. Patricia graduated in 1963 from Marion Senior High School and several years later received her LPN License. She enjoyed her nursing career for 31 years, and retired in 2011 from Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center. Patricia loved being a teacher for the Children’s Sunday School Class at Franklin Baptist Church, and more recently was a member of Harriston Christian Center. She worked several years as a Private Duty Nurse and was employed at the former Avante Nursing Home of Waynesboro. Her interest included sewing, water skiing, her love and care for pets, hiking and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary G. Perkins. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul R. Epperly; children, Peter Grissom and his wife, Cheryl of Forest, VA, Brent Epperly and his wife, Dara of North Garden, VA, and Sara Ross and her husband, Jamie of Fishersville, VA; grandchildren, Tyler Grissom, Brandon Grissom, Dylan McNeal, Reagan Epperly, Carter Epperly and Eli Have; great grandchildren, Hazel, Jade and Willow Grissom and a brother, Dale Gambill of Austin, TX. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Retreat at Fishersville and the Augusta Hospice of the Shenandoah. Pallbearers will be Pete Grissom, Brent Epperly, Tyler Grissom, Brandon Grissom, Dylan McNeal and Carter Epperly. Honorary Pallbearers will be Reagan Epperly and Eli Have. She was born September 19, 1935 in Roanoke to the late Thomas "Opie" and Carrie Brumfield Pillow. A beloved wife and mother, Mrs. Woods retired from Sears and was a faithful member of Faith Fellowship (Wirtz) for the last 17 years, previously an active member of New Life Christian Ministries (Roanoke) for over 30 years. She loved Jesus with all of her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Tuck, Thelma Martin, and Ala Pillow and two brothers, Corbet Pillow and Hugh Pillow. Mrs. Woods is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Edward Woods; two sons, Daniel (Gwen) Woods of Falcon, N.C. and Anthony (Becky) Woods of Rocky Mount; her twin brother, Bobby (Elsie) Pillow of Roanoke; nine grandchildren, Jim (Marlene) Woods, Timothy Tucker, Carrie (Adan) Zelaya, Anneke Woods, Caitlin (James) Vaughan, Danny Woods, Cara Woods, Asher Woods, and Corrin Woods; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice of Franklin County and give a special thanks to Karen Tosh for the love and care shown during this time. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Rt. 220 Chapel) with the Rev. Walter Lee Wood and Dr. Daniel Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on November 25, 2017.3
