Death was attributed to a heart attack suffered Feb. 6. A former resident of Colcord, he was a son of Clayton Stover of Clear Creek and the late Mrs. Mary Stover of Colcord. Mrs. Bessie Jarrell, his mother-in-law, and a brother-in-law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Hendricks of Monaville and Mrs. James Vannoy of Colcord, left for Indiana Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks and Mrs. Vannoy returned Saturday night and word was received Sunday evening of his death. She was a member of Goldtown Community Church; employee of Kanawha County Clerks Office; and a former 32-year employee of the WV Credit Bureau. She is survived by four sisters, Pat and husband, Bob Casto, of Given, Jerrie and husband, Keith McClanahan, of Eleanor, Gail Dillard of Liberty, and Tina and husband, Frank Haddox, of Cottageville; one brother, Ron and wife, Lori Dillard, of Eleanor; two nieces; four nephews; and one great-nephew. A service to celebrate Catty's life will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Goldtown Community Church with Pastors Al Mendez and Aaron Jones officiating.
