     Richard Lowell Adkins Jr. Richard Lowell Adkins, Jr., age 65 of Chatham died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Guggenheimer Nursing and Rehab in Lynchburg. Born December 13, 1954 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of Virginia Gibson Adkins of Chatham and the late Richard Lowell Adkins, Sr. Mr. Adkins was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Muncy Adkins. He attended Chatham Pentecostal Holiness Church and he was a logger. He loved watching westerns, sci-fi movies and talking. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Stacy Barbour and husband, Jamie of Gretna, Sandy Smith of Madison Heights, and Shelby Adkins of Chatham; two step-sons, Larry Moser of Danville and Barry Moser of Ringgold; one brother, Ricky Adkins of Chatham; two sisters, Cindy Adkins Logan and husband, David of Chatham, and Marilyn Cook and husband, Junior of Hurt; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted at the Adkins Family Cemetey.3 He was buried at Adkins Family Cemetery, 791 Burton Lake Road, Chatham, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.3 He was born on December 13, 1954 at Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.1,2,3 He married Nancy Carolyn Muncy, daughter of Cleophus Edward "Cleo" Muncy and Mildred Virginia Chilton, on February 28, 1992 at Danville, Virginia.1,4,3 Richard Lowell Adkins Jr. died on April 1, 2020 at Lynchburg, Virginia, at age 65.3

     Dorothy Marcella Pearson Dorothy Pearson Wolfe, 67, of Boomer, went home to be with her Lord on August 1, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born August 20, 1944 in Caldwell county to Earl and Florence Coley Pearson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Lawson Elijah Wolfe; one brother, Earl "Buster" Pearson. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a faithful Christian. Survivors include: her husband, Thomas Delbert Wolfe of the home; three daughters, Sharon Wagner and husband Greg of North Wilkesboro, Monica Whitworth and husband Shannon of Ringgold, GA, Amy Hutchens and husband Eric of Millers Creek; one sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Broome and husband Larry of Newton; three granddaughters, Candy Smithey of Hiddenite, Amber Wolfe of the home, Ashley Wagner of North Wilkesboro; three grandsons, Cori Wolfe, Casey Hutchens and Logan Hutchens all of Millers Creek; three great-grandchildren, Luke Smithey, Samuel Smithey and Khloe Couch. Memorial services will be 2:00 o'clock Friday at Congo Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Shannon Critcher officiating. Service was ll a.m. Wednesday at Community Baptist Church, Graham, by Pastor Floyd Repass and Pastor Donnie Alley. Burial was at Alamance Memorial Park. on June 11, 2005.4
