     Wesley Phillip "Wes" Epperly was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.3 He was born on September 29, 1970 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.4 He married Teresa Suzanne Flint on October 21, 2005 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.5 Wesley Phillip "Wes" Epperly died on August 14, 2017 at Virginia at age 46.3 He Wesley “Wes” Phillip Epperly, 46, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 14, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon Sr. and Nora Epperly. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Suzanne Epperly; parents, Leon Jr. and Doris Epperly; brother, Darren Epperly (Rebecca); grandparents, Carl and Gladys Stump; uncle, Garry Epperly (Patricia); aunt, Carol Wendland (Chuck); and cousins, Erik Wendland (Macie) and their daughter, Eden; as well as a very special niece and nephews. A dedicated employee of Boone Tractor since 1999, Wes always strived for perfection and prided himself on making his customers happy – no matter what it took. He was a member of First Baptist Church Roanoke. He was an avid enthusiast of the Queen of Steam 611 and Bigfoot Monster Truck. Wes, a grilling and smoker extraordinaire, was a master of the grill. Anyone who was fortunate enough to taste his food knew he was a gifted cook. One of Wes’s favorite pastimes was going to Morehead City, N.C. (his home away from home) and deep sea fishing aboard the Continental Shelf. Wes touched many lives. He was a loving husband, dedicated son, grandson, brother and devoted friend to anyone who knew him. We will be lost without him, however, we know that he is with our heavenly father and we take great comfort with the knowledge that one day we will see him again. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Bryan Smith officiating.
