It was soon after in 1963 he began working for Webb & Neal Funeral Home and then Blue Ridge Funeral Home in 1973 until his passing. Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ruby Delores Lester-Bowling on October 4, 1958 in Crab Orchard, Raleigh County, WV; his daughters, Cathy Bowling-Sullivan & husband Danny Sullivan of Beckley, WV and Christie Bowling-Ward & husband John Ward of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Keilyana Ward of Myrtle Beach SC, Jonathan Sullivan & wife Katie Sullivan, Desirae Toney & husband Lt. Brian Toney of Langley Air Force Base, Joshua Bowling of Montgomery, Justin Moore of Beckley, Keziryah Ward of Myrtle Beach SC; great grandchildren, Izayah Sullivan, Logun Toney, Mason Toney, and Aidan Sullivan; sister, Gwendolyn Bowling-Richmond; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6-9 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Calvin’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Calvin will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens following the service. on March 5, 2018.3
