L. "Ernie" Hunsaker, 81, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Banner Baywood Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. He was born February 26, 1934, in Dallas, Texas, to Ernest and Faye (Mom and Pop) Hunsaker, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Betty "Chickie" Hunsaker; and children, Ernest Hunsaker III (Leah), Julian Hunsaker (Mona), Mike Wofford, Cynthia Espeath and Amy Teetzel (Robert). Ernie graduated from the Texas Military Institute and then went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Texas Western. He spent most of his life in Durango and Farmington, where he was the owner of H & H Oil Company and later owned the International Truck Dealership in Farmington. Ernie believed in the American dream! By working hard and treating others honestly, he built his businesses and provided for his family, who adored him. A memorial is planned in the spring to celebrate Ernie's life. on March 27, 2016.2

     John Ross Drummond Mr. John Ross Drummond, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2017 at the age of 65 from a short battle with liver cancer. John was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, June 1952 the son of the late John F. “Jack” and Maxine Drummond. He was employed with Hercules (ATK) for almost 30 years. After moving back to Christiansburg, VA he owned The Inn at Hans Meadow where he enjoyed being an innkeeper and welcomed guests from all over. John loved the many friendships he made while working at Bucko’s Pantry and Super Dollar. Survived by son, John Ross Drummond, Jr. (Elsha) of Salt Lake City, Utah, William Thomas Drummond of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; grandchildren, Will, Lucy, Jack, and Drew; sister, Nancy Gressmen (Bob) of Woodland, Utah. The family extends special thanks to all those who contributed to John’s medical and hospice care while at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Duke University Hospital and Hock Family Pavilion.3 He was born on June 6, 1952 at Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland.3 He married Katherine Sue "Kathy" Slusser, daughter of Joe Foster Slusser and Elva Marie Bishop, on May 2, 2008 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.1,2 John Ross Drummond died on November 27, 2017 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 65.3

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Poff and with her parents moved from Virginia, to Warren township in 1834. June 5, 1845, Miss Martha was united in marriage to Abraham Frame who died in 1890. Mrs. Frame leaves four children, Mrs. David E. Rose, of Warren township, Nathaniel A. Frame and Daniel B. Frame, of this city, and John R. Frame of Portage township. She has lived on the farm in Warren township for nearly 70 years and was well known. The funeral will be held from the Portage Prairie German Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. H. W. Kreighbaum officiating. The remains wilt be laid to rest in the Portage Prairie cemtery. on January 2, 1905.3

     Abraham "Abram" Frame was buried at Portage Prairie Cemetery, German Township, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.1 He was born on June 5, 1818 at Preble Co., Ohio.1 He married Martha Poff, daughter of Michael Poff and Sarah "Sally" Whitenack, on June 5, 1845 at Berrien Co., Michigan.1,6,5 Abraham "Abram" Frame died on November 24, 1890 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 72.1,4 He Mr. Abraham Frame, for over fifty years, a citizen of this vicinity, died on his home farm, eight miles south of this place, Monday, of consumption. Mr, Frame was at one time a citizen of this county, but later bought the farm where he died, having lived there since 1839. Mr. Frame was one of the successful farmers of the rich burr oak district in which his farm is located. He was a native of Ohio, born in 1818. The funeral services were held yesterday forenoon from the German Baptist church on Portage prairie. on November 27, 1890.4

Mr. Frame was born in Warren township April 29, 1852. He is survived by two sons, Homer, of Niles, Mich., and M. C. Frame, of Hallsboro, W. Va., and three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Mainer and Mrs. Elizabeth Shelley, both of South Bend, and Mrs. D. M. Martin, of Pueblo, Colo. Two brothers, Daniel of South Bend, and John, of California, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Rose, of South Bend, also survive. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the L. H. Orvis funeral home, Rev. N. V. Leatherman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery. on October 4, 1926.6

Frame Albert A. Frame, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Frame, of 734 Brick avenue, died in Lexington, Ky., today after an illness of 18 days with typhoid fever. The remains will arrive in this city on the Lake Shore at 1:33 Tuesday afternoon and will be taken to the residence of Mr. Frame's parents. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday forenoon from the Brethren church and the interment will be in the Bowman cemetery. Mr. Frame was born in Warren township, this county, July 29, 1876. He was formerly in the employ of W. D. Eastwood, a meat dealer on West Washington street, later was a patrolman on the city police force and still later became connected with the South Bend plant of Armour & Co. When the Spanish-American war broke out, being a member of Company F, he went with the company as far as Indianapolis, but was rejecced. He was married July 16, 1901, to Miss Grace Poff and two days later they went to Lexington, where he was in the service of Armour & Co. Besides a wife and his parents he leaves two brothers and three sisters. on April 21, 1902.4 He died on April 21, 1902 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, at age 25.2,4
