Gail was born in Elmira, NY on March 30, 1954 daughter of the late Robert & Charlotte (Hall) Guthrie. She was a graduate of Southside High School and attended Elmira Business Institute. She and Bruce Lowman were married on March 5, 1971 and celebrated 48 years together. Gail was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, her flowers, crossword puzzles and spending time with her loving family. Survivors include her husband Bruce Lowman of Bentley Creek, a son and daughter-in-law, Allen A. (Maggie) Lowman of Tarpon Springs, FL, Penny S. (Tim) Arnold of Millerton, PA, Vallerie L. (Brent) MacWhinnie of Ulster, PA, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four sisters, Joan Guthrie, Linda Fesh, Anita Allis, Robin Guthrie, two nieces, one nephew and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents.3 She was born on March 30, 1954 at Elmira, Chemung Co., New York.3 As of March 5, 1971,her married name was Lowman.3 She married Bruce Lowman on March 5, 1971.1,2,3 Gail Guthrie died on September 21, 2019 at Bentley Creek, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, at age 65.3

Sidney made his career as a crane operator with Inland Steel for many years enabling him to indulge in Harley-Davidson motorcycles which in turn helped him impress the young ladies of the day. He is survived by his ten sisters: Edna, Rosetta, Dorothy, June, Pat, Sue, Edith, Shirley, Darlene & Joyce and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: Junior, Lee, George & Andy. Interment Graceland Cemetery.4 He was buried at Graceland Memorial Park, 1505 E. In addition to her parents, Nena was preceded in death by her husband, Loyal J. Samples, on January 1, 1999; cherished daughter, Marie Ann Knight, on February 16, 2008; beloved son-in-law, Gene Michael Knight, on May 2, 2006; and Marie's sister by choice; Dawn Day Calabrese on July 7, 2010. Dawn's surviving husband is Thomas Calabrese of Hurricane. Nena leaves behind her great-niece, Melissa Milam and husband, Michael, of Hurricane; her great-great-nieces, Alexis and Brooklyn Milam; and her great-great nephew, John Charles Bush. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Special thanks go to HospiceCare, especially Nena's nurse, Linda Greenlee, who stayed with Nena until the end, and all the nurses, CNA's and staff of Teays Valley Center, who took great care of Nena before her journey home. on February 27, 2011.5
