He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nina Bowles Collins; sons and daughters-in-law, Raburn L. Collins, Jr. and wife Sherry of Richmond, Carroll Randolph (Randy) Collins and wife Katie of Burmingham, Ala., Barry N. Collins and wife Fredia of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jack Walrond of Troutville; one brother, Donnie Collins of Eden, N.C; two sisters, Anne Faulkerson and Mossie Bateman, both of Florida; grandchildren, Jeff, Cary and Cindi; and five great-grandchildren. Entombment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on February 17, 2003.4
