     Barbara Ann Rucker was buried at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 5070 Cove Road N. W., Roanoke, Virginia.³ She Barbara Ann Neece, Jun 9, 1936 - Jul 29, 2021. Barbara Ann Neece, age 85, passed away on July 29, 2021. Barbara was affectionately known as "Bobbie" to friends and family and as "Meemaw" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bobbie was a sweet, humble woman who deeply loved and cared for her family. She had a warm heart, quick wit and loved all people. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her human family as well as her pets, Scuttlebug, her beloved poodle and to the many rescue cats she befriended over the years. Bobbie worked hard in all her lifes endeavors, whether it was taking care of her home in Catawba, helping Terry run his plumbing business or hosting a family holiday or Birthday gathering with a bounty of homemade food and gifts for everyone. Bobbie loved to travel with her family and made many trips to Myrtle Beach, the Martinsville and Daytona races, and traversed cross country several times to explore the Great American West, and the Northeast and Southeast coastlines. Bobbie "Meemaw" was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 46 years, Dennis "Terry" T. Neece; daughter, Wanda (Sandy) Dewease; daughter-in-law, Donna Dewease; three grandchildren, Andy (Salena) Dewease, Kelly (Troy) Henderson, Suzanne (Steve) Alley; eight great-grandchildren, Jake Dewease, Anna Dewease, Tucker Henderson, Rhett Henderson, Haden Henderson, Kendall Moore, Karsyn Moore, Lilly Alley; step-children, Kenny (Samantha) Neece, Pat (Karen) Neece, and Debbie Neece; five step- grandchildren; and eight great-step-grandchildren. She is also survived by her much loved brother and special sisterinlaw, George "Sonny" B. Conner, Jr. and his wife Pat; and a sister Mary Lee (Ron) Wilkerson. Additional survivors are her niece, Kathy (Jeff) Furr and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Rucker; stepfather, George B. Conner, Sr; mother, Helen Conner; and much loved son, Lowell Denzil "Denny" Dewease, Jr. Cemetery. Burial Cedar Lawn Cemetery.³ She was born on June 9, 1936 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 As of January 24, 1953,her married name was DeWease.¹ She married Lowell Denzil DeWease Sr., son of Alfred DeWease and Geneva Martha Williams, on January 24, 1953 at Chesterfield, Chesterfield Co., South Carolina.¹ Barbara Ann Rucker and Lowell Denzil DeWease Sr. were divorced on April 3, 1974 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ Barbara Ann Rucker died on July 29, 2021 at Virginia at age 85.³

     Howard Thurman Jones was buried at Bandy Cemetery, Bandy Road, Mt.      Minnie Gray Wilson was buried at Bandy Cemetery, Bandy Road, Mt. Pleasant, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^3,4 She Minnie Jones, 91, died on Tuesday January 14, 2020. She is survived by her son David Jones, daughter Sissy Gearhart, step-sons Bud (Deb) Yopp, Gary (Pam) Yopp, two grandsons Chris (Cathy) and Corey (Jessica) Jones, five great grandchildren, a devoted friend and care giver Liz Slusher. Minnie was preceded in death by husbands Howard Jones and Harvey Yopp. There are many who loved her because of her care and love of them through many years. She was a former legal secretary for Jim Young in Salem. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, David and Betty Vaught; two nephews, Dave and Mike Vaught; niece, Karen Bandy, all of Roanoke. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. on May 9, 1997.⁴
