     Lillian Estelle “Teddi” McCoy was buried at Lewis Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, 395 Lewis Fork Baptist Church Road, Purlear, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.^1,2 She Mrs. Lillian (Teddi) McCoy Wright Triplett, age 85, of Ferguson died Monday, August 16, 2010 at Lebanon Hospital in Lebanon, VA with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held 3:00, Thursday, August 19, at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive at Lewis Fork Baptist Church from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service. Mrs. Triplett was born in Red Ashe, VA, on August 24, 1924, to Barney and Grace Byrd McCoy. Teddi was a loving matriarch who cherished and adored her family. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She dedicated her life to helping others. She raised a family of 10 and when the last child went to college so did she. At 65 years old she earned her nursing degree specializing in Geriatrics. Some of her patients were younger than herself but she never missed work worried that her patients needed her and would miss her. She worked at Britthaven Nursing Home in Wilkesboro until her retirement. Inspired by Teddi's eventful life, one of her granddaughters, Rema Keen and friend Kate Larkin wrote a play called, Teddi's Piece. Rema impersonated Teddi through various stages of life ranging from childhood to old age at the Abingdon Theatre in Abingdon, VA. On opening night Teddi was so proud, she sat in the middle of rows and rows of her children, their spouses and lots of grandchildren. Teddi loved genology and spent many hours researching her family history, she also loved to read, garden and oil paint. She will be missed by all who knew her, but will live on through all of them. "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." Mrs. Triplett was preceded in death by her husband, Van Wilford Triplett, her son Leroy Wright, and daughter, Clyda Sheets. May they have a joyful reunion. Mrs. Triplett is survived by two sons, Curt S. Wright and wife, Donna of Oxford, MI and Steve Wright of North Wilkesboro; seven daughters, Shirley Harmon, of Bristol, VA, Vivian Keen and husband, J. E. of Davenport, VA, Sue Durrette of Apex, Sharon Johnson and husband, Walter of Gloucester, VA, Sheila Horne of Conover, Vandi Montero and husband, Carlos of Alpharetta, GA, Cindi Harrell and husband, Jeff of Charlotte; one sister, Beatrice Linkous; 24 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.      Martha Ann Triplett was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Park, 2017 Wilkesboro Boulevard NE, Lenoir, Caldwell Co., North Carolina.¹ Her married name was Hefner.¹ Her married name was Marley.¹ She married Jones Eller Marley, son of John Cargyle Marley and Lillie Mae Hamby.¹ Martha Ann Triplett married Carl Louis Hefner Sr.¹ Martha Ann Triplett was born on March 28, 1929 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina.¹ She died on January 30, 2009 at Lenoir, Caldwell Co., North Carolina, at age 79.¹ She Martha Triplett Marley Hefner, 79, of Lenoir, went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hefner was born March 28, 1929 in Wilkes County to the late Mathie Triplett and Lula Hamby Triplett. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend, and was an inspiration to all. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Jones Eller Marley and Carl Louis Hefner Sr; a son Michael Dennis Marley; a grandson Charles Wayne Marley; two sisters and five brothers. Survivors include her son John Marley of Hudson; her stepsons, Michael Hefner and Carl Hefner Jr., both of Valdese; her daughters, Victoria Mask and husband Henry, and Winley Owens, all of Lenoir; her stepdaughter, Christy Hefner of Hickory; her grandchildren, Brian Ward, Melissa Triplett, Monica Clement, Renee Billings, Laraye Marley, Brett Marley, Michael Marley and Misty Stilwell; 10 greatgrandchildren; her brothers, Roy Triplett and wife Reba of Millers Creek, Carl Triplett of Ferguson, Boyd Triplett and wife Renee of Lenoir, and Gene Triplett of Ferguson. Services for Mrs. Hefner will be held Monday, February 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Pendry's Chapel with the Revs. Roger Beck and Jeff Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Marley, Brian Ward, Michael Marley Jr., Joey Cline, Dennis Blankenship and Jesse Delgado. The family would like to give special heartfelt thanks to the staff of Gateway Nursing Center, Caldwell Memorial Hospital and Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care for all the loving care they gave to their mom.      Carl Max “Buster” Triplett Carl Max “Buster” Triplett, age 84, of North Wilkesboro, died Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. He was born April 15, 1933 in Wilkes County to Mathie and Vera Hamby Triplett. He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters; and a son. Surviving are his son, Jeffrey Triplett and wife Misty of New York; and two brothers, Roy Clay Triplette and wife Reba of Millers Creek, Boyd Triplett and wife Renee of Lenoir.² He was born on April 15, 1933 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina.² He died on October 22, 2017 at North Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina, at age 84.²

     Walter Gene Triplett was buried at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, North Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.² He Mr. Walter Gene "Greasy" Triplett, 73, of Ferguson passed away Tuesday May 6, 2014 after an extended illness. He was born September 8, 1940 in Wilkes County to Mathie and Vera Hamby Triplett. He had worked as a logger in the timber business. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Laura Triplett, four sisters Coleen Triplett, Martha Marley, Neel Blankenship, five brothers A.D. Triplett, Van Triplet, Lloyd Triplett, Elmer Triplett, Jewel Triplett and one great grandchild Kamryn Lafont. Walter is survived by two sons, John Triplett and wife Andrea of Ferguson, Matthew Triplett of Ferguson. Three daughters, Angela D. Supulski of Ferguson, Juanima T. Minton of Boomer, Sarah L. Wooten and husband Kent of Wilkesboro. Three brothers Roy Triplett and wife Reba of Millers Creek, Carl (Buster) Triplett of Ferguson, Boyd Bradley Triplett and wife Renee of Lenoir. Twenty grandchildren and nineteen great- grand children. Funeral services will be 12:00 o'clock Saturday May 10, 2014 at Faith Harvest Ministries of North Wilkesboro, with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-11:45 A.M. prior to the services at the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.² He was born on September 8, 1940 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina.² He died on May 6, 2014 at North Carolina at age 73.²
