     John Jacob Strayer was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hancock Co., Ohio.^1,2 He John Jacob Strayer was born February 15, 1982, in Bluffton Community Hospital, Allen County, Ohio. His parents were the late Charles Drayton Strayer and wife Glenda Siverling Strayer of Hilliard, OH, who survives. John was an IT Telephone Support Specialist. He expired from the effects of metastatic Adenocarcinoma which he had been fighting for 4 months. He was preceded in death by his father, both sets of Grandparents and one half brother Matthew who died in infancy. John was the youngest brother of half siblings Daniel (Wendy) Strayer of Waterford, MI; Caleb Strayer of Lima, OH; Abigail (Robin Melton) Binkley of St Mary’s, OH and Hannah (Brian) Jurkowski of Front Royal, VA; as well as the much loved full brother to Sarah (Richard) Clark, of Dublin, OH; Joseph (Stephanie) Strayer of Grove City, OH; Margaret Strayer of Hilliard, OH and Susan Strayer of Hilliard, OH. In addition, he is survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews. John will be laid to rest at a later date in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hancock Co., OH, in the family plot. A family memorial will take place at that date as well. Curtis, 81, of Lilly Heights, Beckley, died Sept. 2, 1986, in a Beckley hospital. Surviving: son, Wade of Beckley; daughters, Mrs. Virginia Bennett and Mrs. Ray McDaniel, both of Beckley; brother, Ray Reno of Convoy, Ohio; sisters, Grace Foust of Coldwater, Mich., Elsie Jacox of Fort Wayne, Ind., Essie Clark of Convoy; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Melton Mortuary, Beckley, with Pastor Julian Grubb officiating. Entombment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Prosperity. on September 3, 1986.²
