Walter Samuel Daniel Walter Samuel Daniel, 77, of Bridgeport formerly of Fairmont passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Rosewood Center in Grafton. He was born McAlpin, West Virginia on September 09, 1945 a son of the late Ray and Susie Terry Daniel. Walter proudly served his county in United States Army during Vietnam War. He worked several years as a Federal Mine Inspector until retirement. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemary King Daniel; two sons Stephen Daniel and his wife Angie of Florida and Christopher Daniel and his wife Amy of Alabama; three daughters Cynthia "Cindy" Wolfe of Bridgeport, Stephanie Vaught and her husband Dave of Florida and Michelle Johnson of Florida; two sisters Rosie Sanchez and her husband Dave of Iowa and Shirley Whitt of Alabama; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and sister Robert Daniel, May Aldreg, Hustie Daniel, Marie Smith and Clayton Daniel; one grandson Tyler Vaught. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens where the Marion County Veterans Council will perform full military honors, assisted by the U.S. Army.3 He was buried at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Fairmont, Marion Co., West Virginia.3 He married Rosemary King.3 Walter Samuel Daniel was born on September 9, 1945 at Hot Coal, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.2,3 He married Pamela Joyce Parks on June 4, 1966 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.2 Walter Samuel Daniel died on January 27, 2023 at Grafton, Taylor Co., West Virginia, at age 77.3
