She was born in Marietta, Ohio on June 25, 1956 and was the daughter of the late William D. and Wanda Jean Brown Locke. She graduated from Belpre High School and went to OSU and PCC in Parkersburg for nursing. She studied and became a Nurse Anesthetist. She enjoyed spending time with her pets. She was a drum major at Belpre High School at the time they went to the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. She was Miss Belpre and she was a swim instructor and life guard. She was a Junior Judo Champion for the State of Ohio in her age group. She was a member of the OSU dance team. Survivors include her Significant Other, Steven Hinton of Mineral Wells, WV, brothers, Bill (Karen) Locke of Belpre, Ohio, Donnie Locke of Gilbert, AZ, and Dana (Debbie) Locke of Middleport, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Adam Locke. She enjoyed collecting Teddy bears, Santa Clauses and cookbooks; and had won numerous awards and blue ribbons for her ceramics. Survivors include her husband of 25 years of Florence; three children, Scott Brown of Gresham, Ore., Brent Brown of Dickinson, N.D., and Kristine Printz of Pagosa Springs, Colo; two stepchildren, Joyce Hornecker of Lander and James Nations of Casper; and 14 grandchildren. In addition to her first two husbands, she as preceded in death by her parents; and a stepson, Charles "Chuk" Nations, in April. on July 1, 2005.3

The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28 at the Settle-Wilder New Smyrna Beach Chapel, with the Reverend Robert C. Brown, Coronado Community United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery. on January 25, 2010.5
