A son, Jerry W. Jr., died Dec. 15, 1983. He was an Air Force veteran. Proceeding him in death were his son, Steven Scalf, mother Dora Mae (Welch) Dellinger and father Sherrill George (Terry) Dellinger. He leaves behind is his sister and brother-in-law, Steve and Angie (Dellinger) Squint; his two children, John Dellinger and Terrence Dellinger; three grandchildren, Rylee Slabach, Bronx Dellinger, and Cruz Dellinger; and one niece, Denee Dellinger and one nephew, Joey Dellinger.³ He was born on November 4, 1966.³ He died on June 29, 2017 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, at age 50.³

Surviving are her children, Raquel (Jason) Curtis of Bristol and Justin (Erica) Garver of Mishawaka, and five grandchildren, Kelsey Wood, Kaitlyn and Zakk Curtis and Jocelyn and Presley Garver. Susie is also survived by four sisters and one brother. Preceding her in death were two sisters and one brother. Susie was employed for many years as a waitress at Gubi's in Elkhart and also worked as a facility supervisor at the Elkhart YMCA. In her spare time, she enjoyed riding motorcycles. Her true love in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. on June 6, 2015.²
