Miss Harvey is survived by her sister, Barbara Watson (Johnny), of Metropolis, Illinois; brother, Bart Harvey of Lafayette, Tenn; beloved nieces and nephews. Her faithful companion poodle, Murphy, died only months before her. In her last two decades, she became the family matriarch, whose generous and unconditional love supported all of her family. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Charles Daugherty (Maryanne Horsfield) of Wellington, New Zealand, Dr. William Daugherty (Susan) of Savannah, GA; grandson, Brendan Robertson Daugherty of Newcastle, Australia; nieces, Becky Behling (Dan Finch) of Houston, TX, Betsy Behling of Denver, CO, and Lee Beasley (Brad) of Tulsa; and nephews, David Hindman (Susan) of Nowata, OK, and Joe Hindman (Debra) of Denver, CO. Ann had many friends whom she loved dearly. Her friends and family will remember her as an energetic, gentle and caring person, who loved life. She was a lifelong member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, proud to have contributed needlepoint to the kneeling cushions and Minister's chair in the Sanctuary. She loved animals, often kept strays, and became a Tulsa Zoo docent in her late 60's. Ann had a sharp mind, a keen wit, and was a great conversationalist. She loved baseball, was accomplished at crosswords, a Jeopardy devotee and a member of the Walnut Creek Garden Club. She enjoyed baking and lavished Christmas cookies, desserts, strawberry jam and pickles, on grateful family and friends. Ann's family would like to thank her wonderful neighbors, Lavern, Richard and Padgett, for their help throughout the years. Also, Dr. Robin and Marianne at Riverbrook Veterinary for their wonderful care of Ann's loyal dog, Murphy. God's speed Mom, Aunt Ann, and friend. on August 6, 2006.5

Following his college graduation, Behling joined Stanolind Pipeline, the predecessor to Amoco Pipeline, as a junior engineer. He retired as Amoco's area manager for crude oil pipelines in Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah. Behling was a chairman of the Wyoming Amoco Political Action Committee and was a master Mason. An Eagle Scout, he served on the board of the Central Wyoming Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He had been a member of the First Christian Church of Casper, Wyo. In Tulsa, he was chairman of the executive board of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church and a trustee of St. James United Methodist Church. Behling is survived by his wife, Marianne (Inder) Behling; three daughters, Rebecca Finch of Houston, Sara Behling of Denver and Nancy Beasley of Tulsa; a stepson, Joe Inder of Tulsa; a stepdaughter, Susie Gallegos of Tulsa; and several grandchildren. on July 17, 2001.5

Dr. Daugherty, who lived at 1506 Colonial Drive, Godfrey, was born April 21, 1924, in Arkansas, a son of William C. Daugherty and the late Mrs. Daugherty. Before coming to Alton two years ago he was on the staff of John Cochran Veterans Hospital, St. Louis, and prior to that was on the staff of the Oklahoma State Hospital system. He received his M.D. degree at Bowman Gray Medical School, Lake Forest University, N. C. Surviving are his widow, Dr. Lorna Daugherty, a staff psychiatrist at Alton State Hospital; two sons, Charles Jr., and William, and a daughter Caryl, and his father. on February 23, 1965.2
