Survivors include the widow; daughters, Tarina Mauck, Ladysmith, Va., and Traci Baker, Portsmouth, Va; a stepdaughter, Michelle Hessler, Stafford, Va; a stepson, Jody Hessler, Falmouth, Va; two granddaughters; his parents, Aledo; sisters, Virginia Cooke and Norma Garrison, both of Rock Island; a brother, Dean Baker, Aledo; and several nieces and nephews. on June 29, 1992.⁴

     Duane Earl Baker Duane E. Baker, 47, of 807 NW 6th St., Aledo, died Wednesday, July 6, 1988, at St. Francis Hospital, Peoria. Burial was in Piniel Cemetery. Duane Earl Baker was born Oct 19, 1940 in Moline, the son of Virgil Loren and Merle Ferne Cooper Baker. He was employed as a truck driver for Swiss Valley Dairy, Rock Island, for 17 years. He was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, Rock Island, and attended the Aledo Assembly of God Church. He was a retired staff sergeant with the Army National Guard of Illinois. Survivors include his parents, Loren and Ferne Cooper Baker, Aledo; his daughter, Tiffany, Rock Island; sons, Duane E. II, Jason; Bryan; and his stepson, Lance Luther, all of Rock Island; sisters, Virginia Cooke, Rock Island; Norma Garrison, Moline; his twin brother, Dean M., of Aledo; and Virgil L., of Fredericksburg, VA. He was employed at HON. Paul enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, baking and drawing. He is survived by his parents, Larry Cooke, Alabama, Virginia Cooke (Dale Barnes), Davenport; children, Cheyenne S. Williams, Moline, Paul C. Cooke III, Ironwood, Mich; grandchildren, Preston Berry, Peighton and Lilionnah Williams and Skylar Cooke; sister, Tina Cooke, Rock Island; brothers, Loren "Butch" Cooke, Davenport, and John (Tara) Cooke, Ironwood. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Loren and Feme Baker; uncles, Virgil and Duane Baker; great-grandmother, Sadie Baker; paternal grandparents, Paul and Marie Cooke I; and aunt, Shirley Vernon. on May 31, 2012.³

     Roxanna Gayle McKin was born on May 28, 1954 at Curdon, Clark Co., Arkansas.^2,3 As of July 21, 1975,her married name was Dyer.² She married Ronald Bruce Dyer Sr. on July 21, 1975 at Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee.² Roxanna Gayle McKin and Ronald Bruce Dyer Sr. were divorced on January 3, 1992 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.² As of November 3, 1997,her married name was Chambers.⁴ Roxanna Gayle McKin married Billy Ray Chambers on November 3, 1997 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.^4,3 Roxanna Gayle McKin died on July 10, 2016 at Kempner, Lampasas Co., Texas, at age 62.³ She Roxanna McKin Chambers died Sunday, July 10 at her home in Kempner, Texas. Roxanna was born May 28, 1954 in Gurdon, Ark. She grew up in Nash. She is survived by her husband, Bill Chambers, of Kempner; two sons and a granddaughter, Bruce and Lily Dyer, and Jason Dyer, all of Fort Worth; two step-sons, Jeremy Chambers, his wife Crystal, children Kale, Landon and Kylie, from Killeen; and Justin Chambers, his wife Aerial and son Lincoln of Dallas. Three brothers, Michael McKin of Texarkana, TX, Wade and Mary McKin of The Colony; Steven and Nancy McKin ofNew Braunfels; and her mother Lois Jenkins of Hooks; as well as five nieces and nephews. Roxanna was cremated. on July 27, 2016.³
