     Tracy Lynn Edwards Tracy Edwards Oakes, 53, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at her home. Born June 28, 1965, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of Georgia Carr Edwards of High Point, and the late Donald Paul Edwards. Mrs. Oakes was employed at Home Depot. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Charles H. Oakes; son, Paul Griffie; daughter Krysti Griffie; sister Dianna Pruitt; and grandson, David Finnerty.⁴ Her married name was Oakes.¹ She married Charles H. Oakes.^1,4 Tracy Lynn Edwards was born on June 28, 1965 at Guilford Co., North Carolina.^4,3 As of July 3, 1983,her married name was Griffie.⁵ She married Randall Hobert Griffie on July 3, 1983 at North Carolina.⁵ Tracy Lynn Edwards and Randall Hobert Griffie were divorced on January 31, 1994 at Davidson Co., North Carolina.⁵ Tracy Lynn Edwards died on June 12, 2019 at High Point, Randolph Co., North Carolina, at age 53.⁴

     Traci Krystine "Krysti" Griffie Traci Krystine Griffie, 38, of High Point, left this world Thursday, February 24, 2022, to be reunited with her relatives in heaven. Born January 17, 1984, she was a daughter of Randy Griffie of Winston-Salem and the late Tracy Edwards Oakes. She leaves behind countless friends and all family who loved her dearly. She will be missed by all people she was around, if only for a short time. Krysti had always been a loving mother to her son, David, doing a fantastic motherly duty along with Scott, raising him to be such a smart little man. In addition to her father, she is survived by Scott Finnerty; son, David Hugh Finnerty; brother, Paul Griffie; sister, Megan Hyatt and husband Jake; grandmothers, Judy Gibson, and Georgia Carr; aunts, Layne Craver and husband Brad, Dianna Pruit, Bobbie Dipilato and husband Dan; and several cousins. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Edwards.³ She was born on January 17, 1984.³ She died on February 24, 2022 at High Point, Randolph Co., North Carolina, at age 38.³
