Patrick Hospice House. A native of Charleston, W.Va., Dick was the son of Gynith Summers Walker of Charleston, W.Va., and the late Otis Walker. A 1966 graduate of Charleston High School, Dick was a retired courier and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Mustang Club of West Virginia. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his beloved wife of 32 years, Pamela Mattox Walker of the home; three loving daughters, Beth Propst (Greg) of Martinsburg, W.Va., Jamie Nichols (Travis) of Heath Springs, S.C., and Carrie Walker of Rock Hill; his brother, Ike Walker (Shawna) of St. Albans, W.Va; and his granddaughter, Kaila Adams of Martinsburg. He was a loving father and husband and will be truly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Connie Tinsley and Michelle Parker for the many acts of love and kindness shown to Dick while under their care. on May 30, 2014.2
