She was very proud that she was able to work at Bolling Steel because her two sons, Reid and Jay, along with some of her grandchildren worked there also. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Edwin W. (Ebb) Bolling, and her daughter, Sandra Hatt. She is survived by her sons, Reid Bolling and his wife, Reneé, Jay Bolling and his wife, Dot. Also surviving is a sister, Carol Ann Ferguson; brothers, Howard and Frank Pendleton; grandchildren, Laura Digilio, Deek Bolling, Cole Bolling, Darren Bolling, Andrew Hatt and Lucas Hatt; as well as nine great-grandchildren. We would like to give a special thanks to her friend, Vicki Lee, for all that she did for her, and to all of her friends at Garden City Baptist Church, where she was an active member. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on May 23, 2011.10

Wilson Eli Pendleton The funeral for Wilson Eli Pendleton, 60, of 118 Coleman St. in Danville, who died Tuesday evening in Roman Eagle Memorial Home in Danville, was conducted Thursday. Burial was in Highland Burial Park in Danville. He had been in declining health for the past six years and had been a resident of Roman Eagle Memorial Home for five months. He was born in Franklin County on Oct, 12, 1924, son of Grace Sowder Pendleton of Rocky Mount and the late Cabel Pendleton. He was married to Elna Bolling Pendleton who died in 1973. He had lived most of his life in Danville where he was employed by Dan River Inc. as a loom fixer in the weave room until his retirement due to health. He was a member of Burton Memorial Presbyterian Church in Danville, where he was an elder. In addition to his mother, survivors include, two daughters, Vicky Matherly of Danville and Kathy Davis of Rougemont, N.C; four brothers, John W. We know he came face-to-face with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and love imagining the joy of reuniting with his wife of 63 years, Bettie. Howard was a Korean Veteran, a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a Master Machinist working at Walker Foundry and retiring at Martin Processing. He loved his family, baseball and his Dodgers, RVing with his many friends to bluegrass festivals, his animals and farming his small farm. She was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Callaway where she was head of the Altar Guild for 16 years. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, housekeeping, and taking care of her family and friends. Mrs. Dehart is survived by her husband, Billy J. Dehart; son, Joseph Brent Dehart (Lisa); brother, Jack Guilliams; and grandchild, Elly. A Graveside Service will be held at St Peter's Episcopal Church.7 She was born on May 31, 1942 at Franklin Co., Virginia.2,7 As of January 10, 1962,her married name was DeHart.3 She married Billy Joe DeHart on January 10, 1962 at Franklin Co., Virginia.4,5,3,7 Shelby Jean Guilliams died on October 26, 2020 at Callaway, Franklin Co., Virginia, at age 78.7
