     Diane Gail Link Diane Gail Campbell, 73, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Diane was born on January 23, 1951 in Bristol to parents, L.D. and Glenna Link. She resided in and around Blountville most of her life. Diane enjoyed spending time reading, going to bluegrass concerts and shopping. Most of all, she enjoyed being a grandmother. She was a loving sister to her two siblings. Diane will be greatly missed by her family, loved ones and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years, Joseph Larry Campbell; parents, L.D. and Glenna Link; brother, Larry Link, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jonathan Scott Campbell and wife, Sylvia, Patrick Campbell and wife, Lindsay; sister, Barbara Farley and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Jonah Campbell, Maesen Campbell, Rylan Dobson, Isaiah Campbell, Eli Campbell, Olivia Campbell, Destiny Ferrell; great-granddaughter, Alora; great-grandson, Kamdyn; several nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends. Link departed this life on Sunday, February 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Allie Link, sisters, LeoVan Link, Marie Eavey, Paula Puckett, and Geneva Beierlein along with a niece, Joyce Puckett. He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Link; son, Stephen Link; Melanie Link; very special grandson, Conner daughter also survived by a nephew, Curtis Puckett and his wife Justine; niece, Laura W. Goad and her husband Wayne, their son, Jonathan and his fiancée Shannon. Also surviving a sister-in-law, Loraine C. Harris; brother-in-law, Frank Correll; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clyde and Beulah W. Correll; He is also survived by special cousins; nieces; nephews; and friends. Our family appreciates the loving care and friendship given to Winston by the doctors, nurses, all staff, and his many friends while a resident at Virginia Veterans Care Center. Winston served proudly and honorably in the United States Air Force. As a hobby, he enjoyed making and giving away bluebird houses. He also made one-of-a-kind hiking sticks, which he gave to family and friends. A graveside service will be held in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on March 1, 2016.9
