Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Roger D. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Head of the River Cemetery, Floyd County. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, Va. 23058-5216. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, S. Main Street, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of his daughter. on October 15, 2000.2
