     Barbara Conner married Unknown Shelor; In her father's will she is referred to as Barbara Shelor and is alive as of 1814.¹ Her married name was Shelor. Barbara Conner was born circa 1774 at Cameron Parish, Loudoun Co., Virginia.¹

     Wilbern Shelton Gearheart was buried at Riverview Cemetery, 1401 South Randolph Street, Richmond, Virginia.^3,11,5,12 He was born on September 19, 1913 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^{3,4,11,6,7,12} He married Glenice Armistead "Glennie" Woodson on March 25, 1940 at Richmond, Virginia.^2,4,5 Wilbern Shelton Gearheart died on August 18, 1967 at Richmond, Virginia, at age 53.^3,11,5,12 He Wilbern S. Gearheart of 1702 Glenview Road, brother of Alfred Gearheart of Staunton, died Friday (Aug. 18, 1967) at his home. Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Glencie (Woodson) Gearheart; two sons, Richard T. and Robert W. Gearheart, both of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Flinchum and Mrs. Maudie Hubble of Salem; another brother, Ira L. Gearheart of Richmond; one granddaughter. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. on August 20, 1967.⁵

     Gary Nelson "Hambone" Hamrick was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2880 North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.² He was born on January 15, 1957 at Radford, Virginia.^1,2 He married Donna Elaine Thompson, daughter of Dewey Insley Thompson and Myrtle Irene Richards, on August 5, 1975.^1,2,3 Gary Nelson "Hambone" Hamrick died on June 17, 2009 at Virginia at age 52.² He Gary Nelson (Hambone) Hamrick, 52, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, in the company of his loved ones after a long courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born in Radford, Va., on January 15, 1957, to George Nelson and Shirley Hartsock Hamrick. He was a graduate of Christiansburg High School, Class of 1975. He was employed at Volvo GM Truck Inc. for 33 years. He served in the local union 2069 for many years and most recently as a bargaining chairman. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dewey I. Thompson Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Donna Thompson Hamrick, of Christiansburg, Va; his two daughters and son-in-law, Marsha and Kelly Harvey, of Roanoke, Va., and Jessica Nicolle Hamrick, of Christiansburg, Va; his grandchildren, Hayden and Kinsley Harvey; his parents, George and Shirley Hamrick, of Christiansburg, Va; mother-in-law, Myrtle Thompson, of Christiansburg, Va; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky Hamrick Gerald and Gary, of High Point, N.C., and Robin Hamrick Dukes and Scott, of Winston Salem, N.C; his sisters-in-law and brothers-inlaw, Dorothy and Billy Miller, of Pilot, Va., Doris and David Kirkner, of Pilot, Va., Debra and Richard Abate, of Christiansburg, Va., and Diane and Larry Duncan, of Christiansburg, Va; brothers-in-law and sister-in law, Dewey (Tommy) and Ruby Thompson, of Concord, N.C., and John (Port) Thompson, of Christiansburg, Va. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Special thanks to Neal Turner, Montgomery County Hospital, Dr. Goldschmidt and his staff, Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, and Dr. Perry Shen and his staff. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2009, at the Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5262 East Lee Highway, Max Meadows, Va., off I-81, Exit 86, with Pastor Mike Ingo, Pastor Niky Twine and Pastor Wayne Burnett officiating. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

     Mary Ann Smith Mary Ann Joyce, 69 of Floyd, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019.³ She was born on February 1, 1950 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹ She married Charles Lynwood Joyce on February 13, 1966.² As of February 13, 1966,her married name was Joyce. Mary Ann Smith died on September 27, 2019 at Virginia at age 69.³

     Ettie Gay Conner was buried at Barnett Cemetery, Rt. 637, on Sisson Farm in the middle of the dairy farm, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^4,5,6,3,1,7 She was born on December 18, 1881 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^5,4,3,1,7 She married Omar Eldridge "Homer" Conner, son of Shelton Leek/Leak Conner and Sarah Byar "Sallie" Hall, on November 5, 1898 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^5,2,6,1 Ettie Gay Conner died on April 7, 1950 at Shawsville, Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 68.^5,4,6,3,1,7 She Mrs. Ettie G. Conner, 67, died early Friday morning at her home in Shawsville. She is survived by her husband , O. E. Conner; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce King, Mrs. Gladys King; three sons Ralph Conner, Billy Conner, Ivan Conner; and one brother O. S. Conner. Burial in the Barnett Cemetery. on April 13, 1950.⁶

     John E. Woolwine was buried at Jennelle Cemetery, Rt. 643, near Yellow Sulphur Springs, Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹ He married Blanche Jones.¹ John E. Woolwine was born on January 28, 1907.¹ He died on April 6, 1963 at age 56.¹

     Blanche Jones married John E. Woolwine.¹ Blanche Jones was buried at Jennelle Cemetery, Rt. 643, near Yellow Sulphur Springs, Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹ Her married name was Woolwine. She was born on March 29, 1912.¹ She died on December 8, 1971 at age 59.¹

     Carrie Genie Conner was buried at Wilson Cemetery, Daniel's Run Road (Rt. 661), Locust Grove, Floyd Co., Virginia.^6,7 She was born on November 13, 1894 at Floyd Co., Virginia; Her death certificate has a birth date of Nov 15, 1894.^6,7,1,2,3 She married Sir Jasper Jones, son of Thomas Henry Jones and Louisa Eveline "Lou" Shockey, on November 3, 1910 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^2,1 As of November 3, 1910,her married name was Jones. Carrie Genie Conner died on April 25, 1913 at Locust Grove, Floyd Co., Virginia, at age 18.^6,7,1,8,3
