Inerment will be in Monte Vista Park Cemetery. Mrs. McGhee was born in Floyd County, Va., the daughter of the late William and Melvina Epperly Richards. She was a member of the Penticostal Holiness Church. In addition to her husband, H. W. McGhee, a retired N&W engineer, Mrs. McGhee is survived by one daughter, Mrs. George H. Bowling, of Bluefield, and two grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers and one sister, C. L. Richards and Mrs. T. C. Jones, Pulaski, A. H., Kegley, W. Va., J. S., Christianburg, Va. and E. C. Richards, Covel, W. Va. Pallbearers will be Charlie D. Tate, J. P. Hicks, Guy Cline, J. W. Parks, A. H. McGhee and Preston McGhee. on March 15, 1953.3

Cable on September 6, 1944.7 Albert Henry Richards died on August 16, 1956 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 76.5,6,7 He PRINCETON, Aug. 16 - Albert Henry Richards, 76, of Kegey, died in Memorial Hospital Thursday at 12:15 a.m. after a brief illness. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was born Oct. 30, 1879 in Floyd County, Va., the son of the late William J. and Melvinna Epperly Richards. His first wife, Miss Ada Woolwine, died in 1940. He married the former Mary Cable Neal, who survives Sept. 6, 1944. Other survivors are one son, Ray Richards of Rock; four step-sons, Charles Neal of Battle Creek, Mich; Luther Neal of Washington, D. C., Ray and Donald Eugene of Baltimore, Md., two daughters; Miss Mae Richards of Kegley and Mrs. Lance Carter of Baltimore, Md; three step-daughters; Mrs. R. H. Owens of Princeton, Mrs. Kermit Tolliver of Widemonth and Miss Betty Joyce Neal of Kegley; one sister, Mrs. Ola Jones of Pulaski, Va; two brothers, C. L. Richards of Christiansburg, Va., and Elmer Richards of Covel. Other survivors are 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Richards was a retired blacksmith for the Weyanoke Coal and Coke Co. at Arista where he had been employed for 22 years. He was a member of U.M.W.A. Local No. 6115 at Arista and a member of the Matoaka Baptist Church. The body will be taken to the residence from the Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton to the residence Friday at 2:30 p.m. Funeral arrangements are incomplete on August 17, 1956.7

Born Jan. 21, 1907, in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Ernestine Hurst Calfee. Mrs. Vest was a member of Matoaka Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and children's mission groups, and sang and played the piano. She spent many years singing in trios and quartets and sang in many revivals throughout Mercer County.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy F. Richards; her second husband, Arlie G. Vest; two sons, Ray M. Richards and an infant son, James Howard Richards; a grandson, Charles Barry Anthony; two brothers, Steve Calfee and Roscoe Calfee; and three sisters, Marsha Pack, Beulah Walker and Geneva Underwood. Survivors include two sons, Frank Richards and Joe Richards and his wife, Maxine, all of Princeton; three daughters, Beulah Allen and her husband, Coe, of Beckley, Helen Testino and her husband, Anthony, of High Point, N.C., and Nancy Anthony of Lake Shawnee; a brother, Ernest Calfee and his wife, Dorothy, of Raleigh; a sister, Violet Welch and her husband, John, of Raleigh; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Revs. Harold Underwood, Ralph Calfee and Jim Kestner officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Princeton Health Care Center, Alzheimer's Unit, 315 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV 24740. Arrangements by Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home, Princeton. on November 12, 1999.7

Wallace Yopp and the Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery.      James Asa Martin was buried at Sunset Cemetery, North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.6 He was born on August 18, 1861 at Floyd Co., Virginia.2 He married Sarah Ellen Keith on October 26, 1883 at Floyd Co., Virginia.7,2 James Asa Martin died on August 19, 1927 at Virginia at age 66.6,2 He On the day of Aug. 19, 1927, the death angel visited the home of James Asa Martin and claimed him as his own. He was born Aug. 18, 1861, making his earthly stay 66 years and one day. He was the son of Moses and Nancy Martin. He was married on October 26, 1883, to Sarah E. Keith and to this union were born 10 children, two preceeded him to the great beyond, leaving his wife and eight children to mourn his the death of a dear loving husband and father, namely; Mrs. James Conner, Bluefield W. Va; Mrs. Charlie Huff, Christiansburg; Mrs. Dock Janney and Mrs. Virgil Furrow, Roanoke, Va; Misses Lura and Gracie, who are at home, Otho and Oscar Martin, Christiansburg, Va; two brothers also survive him and four sisters, two brothers having preceeded him to the grave.
He was a strong consistent member of the Brethren church, at Christiansburg, for 42 years. Never a sweeter life lived, than his. He told his wife and children just before he died that the angels had come for him and he was ready to go, and would be waiting for them at the golden gate.
His funeral was preached by Rev. R. D. Bowman, and was sweetly laid to rest in the Christiansburg cemetery to await the resurrection of the just. on January 19, 1928.2
