Mr. Austin always found the best qualities in everyone and he will always be an inspiration to all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2004, at the New Castle Christian Church with Dr. Ernie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Huffman Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Paitsel Funeral Home, New Castle. Since 1974, she was a pastor's wife and homemaker at Redland Valley Brethren in Christ Church, Yorkhaven, Pa. and teacher-pastor's wife in Petersburg, W. Va. More recently, she had been activity director at a nursing home in San Juan, Tx. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Conner. Surviving is her husband, Carl V. Ginder; sons, Bevin, Lindale, Texas, Barry and wife Cathy, Yorkhaven, Pa., Brian and wife, Shanna, Mission, Texas; one granddaughter; brothers, Clyde Conner, Riner, Va., Doug Conner and Joe Conner, both of Salem, VA; sisters, Ava Ebersole, Mechanicsburg, Pa., Ester Kiser, Salem, Va., Wanda Minnick, Harrisburg, Pa; also surviving are her parents, Ruth Conner of Salem, Va. and Raymond Conner of Roanoke, Va. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Floyd, Va. on December 28, 1994.⁷
