She loved working with children and was employed by The Gingerbread Daycare Center as a part-time teaching assistant and taught first-grade Sunday school until her health prevented her from doing so. Her family wrote: ''Vicky's faith in God was a great power in all of our lives. She enjoyed the simple things in life and gave the greatest gifts of love to all who knew her.'' She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Shaver; daughter, Victoria L. Shaver of Anchorage; parents, George and Lillian Wimmer; brothers, Don, George Willard and Jerrold Dillard Wimmer; sister, Brenda W. Bland of Virginia; and many close friends and family in Alaska and the Lower 48. on July 20, 2002.6

For 35 years Mr. Gray was a foreman for the Citrus Packing Association. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carolyn Gray of Grover City; a son, Donald R. Lyon of Grover City; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Gerdes of Terra Bella, and a granddaughter. on April 14, 1966.3
