Her husband and son Shannon were at her bedside when she passed. Shirley was a very special lady that could light up a room by her presence alone. She had a flair for decorating and fashion, both of which she loved to do. Above all else, her passion was to dig in the dirt and plant anything that would grow, flowers, trees, a garden. Shirley had a green thumb. She would walk through a field of grass, stop, and pick up a four leaf clover. She often said they spoke to her. Shirley was a kind, gentle and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved animals of every kind, birds and especially ducks, baby pigs, donkeys and our dogs, Willie and T. Her absence on earth has left a huge hole in our hearts but we are confident we will see her again in Heaven. Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Percell; her father, Bernie Percell; sisters, Brenda Crouse and Doris Stanley and her uncle, Fred Percell. She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Fairtrace; sons, Shannon Walters and Carl Walters, Jr; step-son, Michael Fairtrace; step-daughter, Michele Wingfield; sisters, Joyce Guilliams and her husband, Tommy and Wanda Trent and her husband, Gene West; grandchildren, Hunter Walters, Emily and Forest Walters, Miranda Hawking, Hayden and Lena Fairtrace and Haleigh Russell and three great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Maddox and Hunter. Grandchildren Sean Lucas Duncan, Paeslee Aleeya Dickerson, Ryan Malley & Kara Malley, sisters-in-law, Nona Sarver and Brenda Dickerson, along with her father-in-law Arvin Dickerson. Along with many loving nieces and nephews.
