     Mildred Juanita Pigg Mildred Juanita Jackson, 07.14.1939 - 05.20.2019. Juanita “Nan” Jackson, 79, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at her daughter Kimberly’s home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in West Virginia to the late Clifford and Loma Pigg. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Blaine Jackson, Sr. a brother RC Pigg, a sister Kathleen Beckner, a sister Eder Hawks, a son-in-law, William Brainard (JR) and a grandson Sean Brainard. Juanita enjoyed traveling, bowling, watching T.V, spending time with her family and friends, always making someone laugh. She was a member of the modern woodsmen in West Virginia and the Portsmouth Moose Chapter # 966. Juanita is survived by five children, Pamela Brainard, Sheila Rexroth and husband Mike, Penny Sousa and Rodelio “Buddy” Perea, Kim Francis and husband Gene and Blaine Jackson, Jr. and Doris “Dee” Biedermann. Ten grandchildren, William III, Larry, Raven, Sarah, April, Anthony, Ashlie, Amber, Blaine III and Christopher. Eight great-grandchildren, Alexandra, LeAnne, Jayden, Liam, Harlynn, Brynnley, Maycie, and Cooper. One brother, Sonny Pigg and a host of loving extended family and friends. Juanita will be greatly missed by all. A funeral service will be at Baker-Foster, 5685 Lee Farm Lane Suffolk, VA on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 10 AM with entombment at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.4 She was buried at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk, Virginia.4,8 She was born on July 14, 1939 at Montcalm, Mercer Co., West Virginia.5,3,4 As of September 3, 1955,her married name was Jackson.3 She married Blaine Roland Jackson Sr. on September 3, 1955 at North Tazwell, Tazewell Co., Virginia.3,4 Mildred Juanita Pigg died on May 20, 2019 at Suffolk, Virginia, at age 79.4

He was a son of Mrs. Laura Bowman Pigg of Montcalm and the late Robert L. Pigg. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Francis Thompson Pigg; three daughters, Mrs. Jaynette Price of Blacksburg, Va., and Mrs. Yvonne Amborn and Mrs. Mickey Bowman of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Johnny and David Pigg, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Cletus Hines of Rock and Mrs. Rufus Hall of Montcalm; four brothers, Edgar Pigg, of Bassett, Va., Clifford and W. F. Pigg of Rock and Lonnie Pigg, of Sandlick; three grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Montcalm Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Eddie Blankenship and Rev. Alex Day officiating. Burial will follow in Herndon Cemetery. Pallbearers Sunny Pigg, R. C. Pigg, Peyton Hines, Damon Pigg, Eddie Thompson, Hurl Pigg, and Arnold Pigg. Sister of Juanita Price of Crab Orchard, West Virginia and Mildred Saylor of Kentucky and the late Willie, Benjamin, Carl, Cletus, Vernie, and Talmadge Pigg, Inez Richmond, Helen Thorne and Susie Aldrich. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Port Sulfur resident for over 40 years. Bessie attended Port Sulfur Baptist Church and enjoyed many years there with friends and neighbors that she loved dearly. She enjoyed working in her home and garden. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services and Mothe Funeral Homes, Inc., 151 East Gulf Drive, Triumph, LA on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment Nairn Cemetery. Pastor Philip Yoho will be officiating the funeral. on October 26, 2004.2

Survivors include his widow, Irene St. Clair Pigg; two sons, Roger Lee and James Harold Pigg, both of Abney; three brothers, Willie of Princewick, Carl of Summerlee and Lacy of Glen Morgan; two half brothers, Talmadge Pigg of Princewick and Vernie Pigg of Coal City; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Thorne of Rita, Mrs. Susie Burgiss of Washinton, Mrs. Bessie Burton of New Orleans, and three half sisters, Mrs. Inez Richmond of Blue Jay, Mrs. Juanita Price of Crab Orchard and Mrs. Mildred O'Neal of Coal City. The body will remain at the Williams and Craven Funeral Home until one hour prior to the funeral services, which will be held at the Coal City Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. R. H. Doan will officiate. Burial will be at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Howard Lester, Alton Dalton, Clifford McGrady, Junior Meadows, Mason Fink, Curtis Blevins, Burt Farley and Parris Lusk. on January 19, 1959.6
