Dudding, of Blue Ridge, has been reported killed accidently on September 27 while on duty in the South Pacific, according to war department information. Dudding, who has been in the service about 14 months, has been overseas about a year. Besides his parents, he is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Jimmy Miller, Miss Kathleen Dudding, Juanita Dudding, Eunice Dudding, all of Blue Ridge; and three brothers, Robert, Jack, and Charles, also of Blue Ridge.⁶ He was born on June 8, 1927 at Bedford Co., Virginia.^5,2 He died on October 3, 1945 at South Pacific at age 18; Died while serving his country in WWII.^1,5

She loved playing contract bridge, watching movies, and game shows including her favorites, Jeopardy and Cash Cab. Sara is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Leon and Nancy Crowder. She will be greatly missed by her sons, David M. Deason (Joy) and Thomas Brent Deason; and her brother, David Crowder. on April 25, 2019.³
