She is survived by a devoted and loving husband, Aubrey Aldean (Dean), of 55 years; daughters, Deana Bea Marion, of Salem, and Mary Pat Griffith and husband, Curtis; grandchildren, Kimberly and Grace, of Georgia; first cousin, Sandra Goins and husband, Joe, of Hinton, W.Va; sistersin-law, Rita Marion, of Mt. Washington, Ky., and Helen Nicolaisen and husband, Al, of Ukiah, Calif; and treasured friend, Peggy Worley and husband, Frank. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 35 years and instrumental in establishing the church library. Prior to becoming ill, she was an avid reader and quilter. Dean and Bea cherished camping trips with dear family friends: the annual church trip to Philpott Lake in the 70s when they often arrived early, along with gospel singing events at Watermelon Park and The Smokies during the 80s and 90s. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church on 1527 Gilford Avenue at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Dale Mullinix officiating. on May 15, 2011.³

     Renth Arland Graham was buried at Jacksonville Burial Ground, Rt. 8, 0.25 miles south of Floyd, Floyd Co., Virginia.^3,5,7 He was born on January 6, 1913 at Alum Ridge, Floyd Co., Virginia.^3,4,6 He died on January 23, 1942 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 29.^3,5 He Renth Graham, 26, son of Clayton Graham and Mrs. Della Slusher Graham (I believe this is his mother, she actually did not die in the accident), died as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near here Wednesday morning. Burial was to be in Jacksonville cemetery here. Young Graham also leaves two brothers and five sisters, one of the latter of whom was with him in the accident with an aunt, but both escaped serious injury. Young Graham was unconscious when removed from the wreck. A passenger car Graham was operating collided with a pulpwood laden truck headed toward Radford half a mile from here on the Christiansburg road, according to Sheriff Williams and Charles Gardner, county policeman, who investigated. The truck was driven by Hugh Harman, according to the officers. on January 24, 1942.⁷

     Justine Thay White Thay Bonnell, age 94 of Northville and former long time resident of Howell, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012. Born June 28, 1917 in Radford, VA, she was the daughter of Lannie and Agnes (Graham) White. Thay was a 1936 graduate of Howell High School and retiree of Howell Electric Motors. She was a member of the Howell Chapter #372, O.E.S., member and past Worthy High Priestess of the Howell Corinthian White Shrine and member of the Arbor Shrine #54. Beloved wife of the late Vern Priest (1965) and the late Fred Bonnell (1972). Survived by her nephew, James (JoAnn) White of Northville and niece, Leigh (Pat) Durkin of Oxford; great nieces and nephews, Lorie Norgan, Jason White, Jeff and Steve Durkin; great-great niece and nephew, Kayla Norgan and Hunter White. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. She was born in Floyd County on March 4, 1929 to the late Asa Clayton and Della Slusher Graham, and she graduated from Floyd County High School. She was a member of Salem Church of Christ. Above all, she will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenville Bowers; four brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Asie Clayton Graham and Della Myrtle Slusher Guinn; and one son, Jerry Tilden Hatcher. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harlow Jabe Hatcher; two sons, David (Darla) Hatcher, and Sanford (Teresa) Hatcher; one daughter, Alice (Ralph) Hollandsworth; one daughter-in-law, Susan Hatcher, all of Floyd, Va; one sister, Virginia Brown of Salem, Va; six grandchildren, Mark (Stacy) Hollandsworth, Bradley Hatcher, Allison (Anthony) Munsey, Ashley (Shayne) Poff, Telena (Riley) Harmon, and Samuel Hatcher; and six great-grandchildren, Gavin, Heath, Tanner, James, Trent, and Macy.      Harlow Junior "Jabe" Hatcher was buried at Jacksonville Burial Ground, Rt. 8, 0.25 miles south of Floyd, Floyd Co., Virginia.^4,5 He was born on November 19, 1932 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^3,5 He married Norma Daurice Graham, daughter of Asa Clayton "Acie" Graham and Della Myrtle "Dellie" Slusher, on March 28, 1951 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,2,5 Harlow Junior "Jabe" Hatcher died on March 2, 2017 at Virginia at age 84.^4,5 He Harlow Junior (Jabe) Hatcher, 84, of Floyd passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Norma Hatcher, his son, Jerry Tilden Hatcher, and his parents, Harlow and Emily Hatcher. Left to cherish his memory are his children, David (Darla) Hatcher, Sanford (Teresa) Hatcher, and Alice (Ralph) Hollandsworth, and daughter-in-law, Susan Hatcher, all of Floyd; six grandchildren, Mark (Stacy) Hollandsworth, Bradley Hatcher, Allison (Anthony) Munsey, Ashley (Shayne) Poff, Telena (Riley) Harmon, and Samuel Hatcher; and seven great-grandchildren, Trent, Gavin, Macy, Heath, Tanner, James, and Harlow. Jabe served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953 to 1955. During his high school years his passion was playing basketball in which he held a game high record of 51 points for several years.
