     Renee Carol Scarce was buried at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, Virginia.3 She Renee Scarce Layne, 54, of 14725 Franklin Tpke., Dry Fork, VA. died on Friday April 7, 2017 in the Piedmont Hospice Center in Charlottesville, VA after being in declining health for the past five years. Renee was born in Danville, VA on May 23, 1962 a daughter to the late Harold C. Scarce and Thelma Neely Scarce. She had lived all of her life in Pittsylvania County where she was graduate of Tunstall High School, Class of 1980. Renee had worked for the Pittsylvania County Department of Transportation as a bus driver for 14 years. She was a volunteer for the Tunstall Fire & Rescue for seven years and she was a volunteer for the Spirit Horse Therapy Center as an Instructor. Renee was of the Baptist Faith. On December 11, 2004, she married Timothy B. Layne who survives of the residence. Renee is also survived by one son, Jason Scarce of the residence, three daughters, Holly Tiefenaure of Clayton, NC, Melissa Schnell of Danville, VA & Dixie Layne of the residence, one sister, Cynthia Yeatts (Thomas), one brother, Rev. Michael Pressley (Sarah) all of Danville, VA, two grandchildren, Eli Tiefenaure & Natalia (Nugget) Aguilar. She was predeceased by one sister. Funeral Services for Renee will be conducted rom the Graveside in Danville Memorial Gardens.3 She was born on May 23, 1962 at Danville, Virginia.1,3,4 As of August 23, 1991,her married name was Moran.1 She married Steven Kenneth Moran, son of James Noah "PeeWee" Moran and Elsie Pauline Craighead, on August 23, 1991 at Floyd Co., Virginia.1 Renee Carol Scarce and Steven Kenneth Moran were divorced on February 18, 1997 at Floyd Co., Virginia.2 Renee Carol Scarce died on April 7, 2017 at Charlottesville, Virginia, at age 54.3
