     Phyllis Lucille Fisher was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ She was born on May 11, 1932 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^2,8 She married Walter Thomas "Tom" Palmer Jr., son of Walter Thomas Palmer and Effie Esther Wood, on January 14, 1950 at Roanoke, Virginia.^9,10,2 As of January 14, 1950,her married name was Palmer.² Phyllis Lucille Fisher died on October 21, 2021 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 89.³ She Phyllis Lucille Fisher Palmer, 89, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. She retired from Nordstrom after many years of service. Phyllis was preceded in death by her two sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Fisher Muse; sister-in-law, Susan Fisher; niece, Susie Muse Stull; nephew, Paul Muse Jr; and many special other nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to give a special thank you to Phyllis' dear friend, Priscilla Casey; her cousin, Charlotte Paxton Allen; and to the staff of Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center for all their wonderful care.      Bertha Estelle Christely was buried at Grantsville Cemetery, Grantsville, Tooele Co., Utah.^1,4,5 Her Social Security Number was 230-16-6320.⁷ She was born on March 15, 1920 at Back Creek, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,7,4,5,6,8 As of November 14, 1941,her married name was Fisher.¹ She married Frank Odell Fisher Jr., son of Frank Odell Fisher and Maggie Lucille Paxton, on November 14, 1941 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3,4,5 Bertha Estelle Christely died on July 23, 1998 at Grantsville, Tooele Co., Utah, at age 78.^1,7,4,5 She Our loving and devoted wife mother grandmother great-grandmother sister and best friend Bertha Estelle Christley Fisher returned to her Father in Heaven on Thursday, July 23, 1998 after a brief illness. She passed away at home surrounded by her loving husband and family. Bertha was born March 15, 1920, Back Creek, Roanoke, Va., to William Gilford and Ivy Mae Ferguson Christley, the sixth of nine children. She grew up in the Roanoke, Va. area and attended schools there. She graduated from Andrew Lewis High School. Bertha married Frank Odell Fisher, Jr., her high school sweetheart on Nov 14, 1941, Roanoke, Roanoke, Va. They were sealed for Time and Eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Jan 28, 1944. They were married for 56 years. Bertha was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings and positions throughout her life. She loved singing in the Ward Choir. Bertha and Frank came to Grantsville, Utah in 1942 for a visit and decided to stay. They built their home on Race Street and have resided there for 45 years. She retired from the Tooele Army depot. She was a Transportation Specialist and worked mostly in Bldg 630. She is survived by her husband Frank her children; Larry (Susan) Fisher, Nancy (Billy) Byrd, Susan (Tom) Ahrens, Curtis Fisher and daughter-in-law Judy (Lance) Fisher Millbum; 19 special grandchildren and 23 extra special greatgrandchildren, all of whom she loved immensely; brothers and sisters: Pete (Margaret) Christley, Grant and Mignon Christley, Bill Christley, Glenna Millward, Elsie (Marvin) Barrus, and brother-in-law Ferris Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lance; grandchildren Jamie and Ashley; sister, Louise (Ferris) Williams; and brother, Milan and Monroe Christley. We will miss her greatly. She left us with many wonderful memories. Interment will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery. on July 28, 1998.⁵

Born November 22, 1944, in Tooele, to Frank O. and Bertha Christley Fisher. He graduated from Grantsville High School Attended Brigham Young Universify. Fulfilled an LDS mission to Florida. Married Judy England, December 2, 1966, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church where he served in the Elders quorum presidency, was Young Men's president, president of the stake Seventies, active member of the High Priests group, and, at the time of his death, was serving in the Sunday School presidency. Member of the Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the Retail Merchants Association, and had served on the Junior High Advisory Council. He was self-employed with the England Construction Company, Style Shop, and was involved with the ABA Alternative Energy Systems. Survived by: wife, Tooele; children: Lance Devin, Erik Alan, Chad Brian, Brodie Jason; parents, Grantsville; brothers: Larry, Tooele; Curtis, Grantsville; sisters: Mrs. Billy (Nancy) Byrd, Tooele; Mrs. Tom (Susan) Ahrens, Davenport, Iowa. Lance was a special friend to many and his cheerfulness and chanty will be missed by all who knew him. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery. on December 1, 1983.²

     David Dean Graybeal was born on October 9, 1940 at Bell Co., Kentucky.^2,4 He married Carol Ann Baugher, daughter of Elmer Asa Baugher and Lara Gertrude Waldron, on June 10, 1967.^1,2,3,5 David Dean Graybeal died on November 23, 2019 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 79.² He David Dean Graybeal, 79, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Friendship Manor South Nursing Home. He was born October 9, 1940 in Somerset, Ky. to the late Joseph David Dean and Hazel Myers Graybeal. David graduated from Centre College of Kentucky in 1962 with a B.A. in History and received his master's degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky. After graduation, he moved to Roanoke where he taught History and Government at William Byrd High School before returning to his Alma Mater, Centre College in 1967, to serve as Alumni Director. In 1971, David returned to Roanoke where he taught History, Government, and Marketing Education at Cave Spring High School prior to becoming a Financial Advisor with Shenandoah Life Insurance Company in 1980 and later John Hancock Financial Services where he received numerous honors and awards. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol Graybeal; daughters, Heather Graybeal Caldwell and Tiffany Graybeal Winser; son-in-laws, Gerard Caldwell, III and Edward Winser; grandchildren, David and William Caldwell, and Matthew and Caroline Winser. David was preceded in death by his brother, William Joseph Graybeal, of San Diego, California. on December 1, 2019.²

"Piko" Peterson, 77, of Salem, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011. He was a graduate of Andrew Lewis High School, a member of Bethel Baptist Church, American Legion Post #3, the Edgewood Lions Club and was retired from the Salem Police Department after 35 years of service with the rank of Captain. He was preceded in death by his parents, James P. and Margaret Arnold Peterson; a niece, Carolyn Gardner; a nephew, Michael Henderson; and a brother, Don Peterson. Surviving are his beloved wife of 48 years, Barbara P. Peterson; son and daughter-in-law, Mark W. and Mary Jon Peterson; son, Stan Peterson; daughter-in-law, Sara Peterson; granddaughter, Alexis Peterson; sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret and Charles Henderson and Phyllis Gardner; sister-in-law, Peggy Peterson. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
