     Norma Jean Ingram was buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.^4,3 She was born on February 28, 1937 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^4,1,2,3 As of December 3, 1960,her married name was Simpson.¹ She married William Carroll Simpson, son of Howard Leonard "John" Simpson and Ruby Edna Beckner, on December 3, 1960 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,3 Norma Jean Ingram died on April 26, 2015 at Kansas at age 78.^4,3 She Norma Jean Simpson, 78, of Lansing passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was born February 28, 1937 to Nelson and Gladys (Radford) Ingram in Floyd, Virginia. Norma Jean married William C. Simpson December 3, 1960, who preceded her in death in 1992. Along with being an active military wife and mother, Norma Jean had 40 years of civil service with 34 years at Fort Leavenworth. Survivors include two sons, William C. Simpson Jr. (Diane), Kansas City, Missouri, Stephen Simpson, Wichita, Kansas, two grandchildren, Will Simpson, Josie Simpson and one sister, Linda Short, Roanoke, Virginia. Family will receive friends, 2 till 4 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Davis Funeral Chapel. A procession will leave Davis Funeral Chapel on Monday May 4, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. for the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Pioneer Chapel, Fort Leavenworth. Interment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. on April 30, 2015.³

     Valinda Gayle Shannon was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² She was born on April 20, 1953 at West Virginia.¹ As of January 1, 1984,her married name was Poff.¹ She married Ira Lee Poff, son of Sherman Riley Poff and Lizzie Pearl Johnson, on January 1, 1984 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.^1,2 Valinda Gayle Shannon died on November 9, 2019 at Virginia at age 66.² She Beloved wife, mother and "Maw Maw" Valinda Shannon Poff, 66, of Buchanan, Va., went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2019. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 35 years, Ira Lee Poff. She lives on in the hearts of her children, Seanmichael and his wife, Kaitlyn, Becky and her husband, Josh, Johnny and his wife, Trish, and Amy and her Stacey. Valinda doted on her grandchildren, Maddie, Jake, Hunter, Britney, Gracie, Peyton and Zach; as well as great-grandchildren, Axel, Huntleigh and Alayna. She is survived by siblings, Ray and Shirley. Valinda was preceded in death by her mother, Annie; and siblings, Louise, Donnie and Sam. She was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard where she served as a radio specialist and fell in love with a handsome staff sergeant who would become the love of her life, Ira. Valinda was a lover of people, always known for sharing stories, telling jokes and making friends with just about everyone she would meet. Graveside Military Honors will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. on November 15, 2019.²

     James Luther "Jimmy" Paitsel Jr. was buried at Huffman Memorial Park (also known as Chestnut Grove Church Cemetery), above the fish hatchery, Rt. 42, Craig Co., Virginia.² His Social Security Number was 226-11-0906.⁵ He married Sharon Unknown.¹ James Luther "Jimmy" Paitsel Jr. married Trish Harris.² James Luther "Jimmy" Paitsel Jr. was born on March 9, 1961.^2,5 He died on July 30, 2007 at age 46.^2,5 He James L. Paitsel, Jr., 46, of New Castle, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 30, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife, Trish; father, James L. Paitsel, Sr; mother, Arlene S. Paitsel; sister and brother in-law, Julie and Mike Huffman; children, Jamie Paitsel and fiance, Heather, Ashley Harmon and husband, Patrick, and Andrew Paitsel; children, Shawna, Trey and Taylor Huffman; nephew, Justin Huffman and fianc?e, Caitlin Tolbert; niece, Crystal Hickson and husband, Jeff; one great-nephew, Austin Hickson; one great-niece, Sarah Hickson; mother and father-in-law, Debbie and Mike Harris; second mother, Frances Oliver; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; two special furry companions, Leo and Polly; and many special friends. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Huffman Memorial Park with the Rev. Larry Jent and Lowell Stovall officiating.
