She was a devoted homemaker, member of the Pembroke Christian Church, loved the fellowship of the local bingo halls, and for over twenty-five years was a weekly volunteer at Heritage Hall Health Care in Blacksburg. She is preceded in death by a sister, Georgina Daughtery and two brothers, George Pfeiffer, Jr. and Elmer Pfeiffer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lorenzo Brumfield, Sr; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lorinza and Melissa S. Brumfield , Ronnie and Violet Brumfield, all of Pembroke; three grandchildren, Dana Robertson of Louis, Delaware, Nicole Collins and Bendy Brumfield of Pembroke; two great-grandchildren, Loren and Jaden Robertson; two stepgrandchildren, Lisa Tankersley of Beckley and Lynette Osborne of Pembroke; two step-great-grandchildren, Kaley Tankersley and Jacob Osborne; one brother, Ben Pfeiffer of Louisville, Ky; one sister, Emma Lee Johnson of Louisville. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 26, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow Street in Pembroke with burial following in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 218, Pembroke, Va. 24136. on February 25, 2003.2

Surviving are his father, Joe; brothers, Michael, Kenny, and Jack; sisters, Linda, Jody, and Melanie; a number of nieces and nephews, two greatnieces; daughter, Monica; and granddaughter, Jade. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the VA Hospital and to the staff on 12 West at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their many acts of kindness. A special thanks to Dr. Gooding. A private graveside service was conducted in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on April 21, 2006.2

     Michael Andrew Poff was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.3 He was born on April 3, 1951 at Roanoke, Virginia.4 He died on October 18, 2016 at Virginia at age 65.3 He Michael Andrew Poff, 65, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Andrew and Ethel Saunders Poff; and a brother, Tony Poff. Michael was a 1969 graduate of Northside High School and had worked in funeral service for over thirty years. One of Michael's greatest moments was meeting country singer, Alan Jackson in 1999. Surviving are his sisters, Linda Simmons, Jody Cronk and Melanie Fisher; brothers, Kenny and Jack Poff; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. At Michael's request his body was cremated and laid to rest in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens next to "Baby Isiah" to whom a grave was given in 1990. on October 30, 2016.3
