     Jackson Theodore "J.T." Jennings Jr. SUMMERSVILLE – Jackson Theodore “J.T.” Jennings, Jr., 81, left his final mark on this earth on the afternoon of January 19, 2010. He was the husband of Freda Maxine Hudnall Jennings the love of his life whom he married in Chicago, IL, on September 1, 1950. He was born on January 31, 1928, at Cunard, WV, and the son of Mary Gertrude Epperly Jennings, of Fayetteville, and the late Jackson Theodore Jennings, Sr. Mr. Jennings was a former US Air Force Sergeant, serving in post WWII Japan for two years. He was a retired tool-die-caster for AM International in Mt. Prospect, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackson Theodore Jennings, Sr; his daughter, Debra M. Ganek on September 28, 2002; three brothers, Lawrence J. Jennings, Joseph A. Jennings, and Paul D. Jennings; two sisters, Ellen M. Rahall and Nancy P. Ashcraft; and his grandson, James Cline. In addition to his wife, Freda, he is survived by his three sons, Charles K. Jennings, Jackson T. Jennings, III, and Joseph L. Jennings, of Illinois; his daughter, Regina L. Small of Wisconsin; his mother, Mary G. Epperly Jennings; two brothers, Ted J. Jennings and Billy R. Jennings; one sister, Polly J. Hoffman; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Robert “Doc” Michael officiating. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, with military rites being conducted by American Legion Post 149, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends two hours before the funeral at the funeral home.
