Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Violet Bee Nichols Reed; one daughter, Gail Marino of Princeton with whom he made his home; two grandchildren, Tommy Bailey and Kim Lytton; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Lytton and Niki Bailey; two stepsons, John and Harold Burcham of Princeton; one sister, June Katheryn Worrell of Halls Ridge; and a special friend, Ralph Wade. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery on the Halls Ridge Road in Princeton. on April 23, 1998.4

She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Princeton where she was active in the Adult Sunday School Class and the Joy Fellowship. Mrs. Worrell was a member of the DMA of the Johnston Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Watson Dove Jr. and her second husband, Clarence E. Worrell Sr., and three brothers, Walter Reed Jr., Ralph J. Reed and Ernest Reed. Survivors include five children, Larry L. Dove and wife Regina of Princeton, Geraldine Kendall of Petersburg, Va., Janice E. Dove of Sarasota, Fla., Karen Bridges and husband Don, and Clarence E. “Bo” Worrell Jr. and wife Kathy, both of Princeton; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; special son-in-law, Corky Kendall of Petersburg; special niece, Gail Marino of Princeton. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton. on August 27, 2006.2

He was a brother of Emmanuel Jackson Dove who was fatally injured in an automobile accident on Honaker Avenue in Princeton on May 29 of this year. Survivors include the widow, the former June Reed of Wilmington; three children. Larry, Geraldine, and Janice, all of Wilmington; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Dove, RFD 2, Princeton five brothers, H. L. and Fred of Princeton; Paul of Baltimore, Ralph of Wilmington and Pfc. Wallace Dove of Camp Pickett, Va. on July 19, 1953.3

Worrell Sr., 77, of the Halls Ridge Road, Princeton, died Thursday afternoon, May 31, 2001 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born June 28, 1923, at Gardner, he was the son of the late John William and Kippie Dove Worrell. Mr. Worrell graduated from Spanishburg High School, entered the U.S. Army to serve during War World II. He worked on road construction for many years, having worked on the tunnel at East River Mountain, the West Virginia Turnpike, and retired with Lane Construction Company. He was a member of the Labor Union Local of Beckley. He was an active member of the Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Road in Princeton and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters and was the last member of his immediate family. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, June Reed Dove Worrell; two sons, Larry Dove and Clarence E. Worrell Jr. and wife, Kathy, all of Princeton; three daughters, Geraldine Kendall and husband, Corky of Colonial Heights, Va., Janice Dove of Sarasota Fla., and Karen Bridges and husband, Don of Princeton; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road, Princeton. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Sandy River District, American Legion Post #175 Bradshaw and the Mercer County Veterans Council. on June 3, 2001.5

Larry Lee Dove Larry Lee Dove, 73, of Princeton, was called home by his Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 26, 2020. Larry was a devoted Christian and servant of the Lord. Born February 21, 1947 in Athens, he was the son of the late Ernest Dove, Jr. and June Reed Dove. Larry was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of the Princeton Church of God. He was a real estate appraiser for 36 years. Larry loved his wife and family, especially his grandchildren who adored him. Larry was one-of-a-kind. He was liked and will be missed by many. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Dove; and one brother, Bo Worrell. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Regina Wall Dove; children, Kira Cole and husband Jason of Princeton and Heather Varney and husband Timmy of Bluefield; grandchildren, Haley, Mady and Brody (Pedro) Cole and Gibson and Levi Varney; sister, Geraldine Kendall and her family; two brothers-in-law, Jason Wall and wife Tiffany and Johnny Wall and wife Michelle, who were also his friends, but most importantly his fishing buddies; sister-in-law, Kathy of Princeton and her family; nephews, Brett and Bryce Wall; sister, Karen Bridges and husband Donnie and family; loving cousins, Gail Marino and partner Jack Danielly and her family and Tommy (Tom Tom) Bailey and Kim Hall of Princeton; and all of his fishing buddies.2 He was born on February 21, 1947 at Athens, Mercer Co., West Virginia.2 He married Regina Wall circa 2003.2 Larry Lee Dove died on March 26, 2020 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 73.2

Born March 5, 1961, in Princeton, he was the son of the late Clarence E. Worrell Sr. and June Katheryn Reed Worrell. Clarence who was also known as Bo, graduate from Princeton High School in 1979. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Union Local #33 of Charleston and was currently employed by Conn-Weld Industry in Princeton. Clarence was a member of Kegley Baptist Church at Kegley. He was a devoted husband, father and brother who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, especially working on his farm, where he raised goats, chickens and had a donkey named Eeyore. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 25 years, Kathy Ann Powell Worrell; his two children, whom he was very proud of, Robert Corey Worrell and Kristen Noqua Worrell; siblings, Karen Bridges and husband, Donnie, Larry Dove and wife, Regina all of Princeton, Geraldine Kendall of Virginia, and Janice Dove of Florida. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on May 9, 2012.2

Hall, 84, of the Alvis Road, Princeton, died peacefully Wednesday night, Aug. 30, 2006 at his home with his family surrounding him at his departure. Born Sept. 20, 1921 (The SSDI has a birth date of Aug 30, 1931 and Bryce was not enumerated with his family in the 1930 Census - author Scott Schaffer), at Princeton, he was the son of the late Jessie Lee Hall and Maude Sweeney Hall. Bryce was educated in Princeton and a member of the Princeton Church of Christ on East Main Street. His career began with the Virginia Railroad in 1953 as a painter on the paint gang. In 1959, the Virginian and N&W railroads merged and he was appointed Foreman in 1963. He was sent to Harvard University, where he graduated from the Trade Union Program in 1973. He was also local chairman for Lodge No. 1575 of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employs. In 1974, he was elected to serve with the BMWE as General Chairman of the C & O System Federation which he served for two four-year terms. In 1982, he was elected as International Vice President of the South East Region which covered everything from east of the Mississippi River and south of the Potomac River. He served two four-year terms in this position before retiring in 1990 due to health reason. Bryce loved to hunt and working on his farm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Basil Hall and sisters, Ruth Tyree and Marie Foley. Survivors include his wife of nearly 53 years, Mary Ann Champ Hall; his son, Bryce L. Hall Jr. of Princeton; two daughters, Sandra Jones and husband Paul of Princeton and Linda Shaffer and husband Charles of Tahlequah, Okla; grandchildren, Casandra Skaggs and husband Keith, Kitts Hill, Kristen Shrewsbury, Rebecca Johnson and husband Chad, Nicholas, Zachary and Makayla Shaffer; two great grandchildren, Kyle Shrewsbury and Brett Johnson; a host of nieces and nephews; brothers, Benjamin Hall of Stoneville, N.C. and Barry Hall of Ballard along with sisters, Elizabeth Huston of Nazareth, Pa., Frances Scott of Radcliff, Ky. and Irene Bailey of Maxie, Va. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers are Barry Lee Hall Jr., Joseph Bailey, Keith Skaggs, Wayne Hager, Steve Poorman and Ernest Bishop. on September 1, 2006.1
