     Debra Ann "Debbie" Carson Debra "Debbie" Ann Akers, 68, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Debbie was born June 16, 1953, to Carl Eugene and Erma Lee (Beaty) Carson. She married David Akers November 15, 1991 in Graham and he preceded her in death December 19, 2018. Debbie was a nurse for over 30 years, and spent her entire career taking care of the elderly. She was absolutely over the top at Christmas time, with all her decorations and the multitude of gifts for her grandchildren. By far, her favorite loves in life were her children and her grandchildren. Survivors include: son, Danny Huckobey of Graham; mother, Erma Beckham and husband James of Graham; brother, Doyle Carson and wife, Victoria of Graham; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Carson, husband, Johnny Huckobey, daughters, Kelli Huckobey and Staci Huckobey and son, Scott Elliott.4 She was buried at Pioneer Cemetery, 1000 4th Street, Graham, Young Co., Texas.4 She was born on June 16, 1953.4 As of November 15, 1991,her married name was Akers.2 She married David J. Akers, son of Billy Fred Akers and Georgia Joyce Harrison, on November 15, 1991 at Graham, Young Co., Texas.2,3,4 Debra Ann "Debbie" Carson died on November 26, 2021 at Wichita Falls, Wichita Co., Texas, at age 68.4

She was preceded in death by her father, Ural Duncan and mother, Emmaline Duncan.She is survived by her sons, Spenser Duncan and wife, Katie Duncan, Matthew Duncan, and Tanner Speight; daughters, Hannah Speight and Emma Speight; granddaughters, Madison Duncan, Raegan Duncan, and Kennedy Duncan; brother, Steve Duncan.Tammy was a beloved mother and friend who served many years with the Fort Lewis rescue squad and was considered family at the Emmaus Road Community Church. She was born in Shawsville, Virginia on April 25, 1927. She lived in the Wabun community most of her life. She was a faithful member of Green Hill Church of the Brethren and The Mamie Kinzie Women's Fellowship. She also spent many years serving others through the Wabun Social Service Club. Avalee was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always met you with a smile, and chose to see the best in everyone. She was admired for her positive attitude, strong will, and selflessness. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on September 6, 2014.3
