Mary enjoyed volunteering at the election polls, traveling, gardening and slot machines. She adored her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, siblings Noah Stanley, Rose Howell, Elizabeth Miller and Ina Stanley. Survived by her son, Mitchell Shawd; granddaughters, Ashley and Krystal Shawd; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Alexander and Connor Fojtik; dear friend and caregiver, Sue Picklesimer; and her little friend, Kelli Landis; along with other relatives and friends. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio. Inurnment Kingwood Memorial Park. on December 29, 2013.3
