She loved cooking, and anything having to do with Christmas. Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Maud Scott Reid; husband, Lynwood Argabright; daughter, Aloma A. Meador; grandson, Jason Meador; and special friend, Travis Whatley. Her surviving family includes her daughter, Belinda "Bendy" A. Brooks; daughter-in-law, Laura K. Meador; great-granddaughters, Haley Nicholson and Caroline Meador; sister-in-law, Eunice, and husband, Dickie Call; and nieces and nephew, Teresa, Wayne, Debora, Renee, and Yvonne. Special thanks are expressed to her caretakers, Pat, Peggy, Jenny, Ashley, Anthony, and Robin, as well as Good Samaritan Hospice. A special thanks to unit 5 at Catawba Hospital for their outstanding care. Burial will follow at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. on April 15, 2018.6

Surviving are his wife, Blanche Huffman, of Roanoke; two sons, Leroy Allan Huffman and his wife, Sharon, and Randy Huffman and wife, Debbie; three grandchildren, Michael, Kim, and Chris; two step grandchildren, Erica and Heather; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Martha Lawson, Sandra Moore, and Dot Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and special pet, "Chico." Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. on December 14, 2010.2
