     James Dale "Jim" Politis married Janice M. Lindsey, daughter of Herbert Henry Lindsey and Janice Darla Earles.^3,1 James Dale "Jim" Politis was born on September 20, 1947.⁴ He died on October 10, 2023 at Virginia at age 76.² He James Dale "Jim" Politis, October 10, 2023. James Dale Politis (1947-2023) was a dedicated public servant, a loving husband, and a proud father and grandfather. Born in Chicago, he served in the United States Air Force before attending Olympia Community College in Washington. He started his career at CB Centers of America, but he also had a passion for farming and entrepreneurship. He and his wife Jan started J&F Distributing in Knoxville, TN, and later ran Brush Creek Buffalo Farm and Store in Riner, VA. Jim was also a member of the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors and a strong advocate for the legalization of industrial hemp. He passed away peacefully in 2023 and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. on October 13, 2023.²

He loved his family, his dogs, old cars and collecting guns. He loved sports and he never met a stranger. He was employed with Advance Auto. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Denise Bradshaw; son, John Bradshaw IV (Christy); daughter, Jennifer Bradshaw; granddaughters, Ella and Nevaeh; brothers, Tim Bradshaw (Janee) and William Bradshaw (Charita); sister, Elizabeth Gibson (Dean); and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015, at Oakey's North Chapel, with Bishop Tommy Joe Williams officiating. The interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. on January 3, 2015.³
